Por lo tanto, procuramos siempre agradarle, ya sea que estemos en este cuerpo o que ya no estemos en él.

Por tanto procuramos también, ó ausentes, ó presentes, serle agradables:

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.
