Porque somos conscientes de que si nuestra casa terrenal, éste tabernáculo es derribado, tenemos un edificio de Dios, una casa no hecha con manos, eterna, en el cielo.
PORQUE sabemos, que si la casa terrestre de nuestra habitación se deshiciere, tenemos de Dios un edificio, una casa no hecha de manos, eterna en los cielos.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
Porque en esto estamos clamando con gemidos, deseando con toda firmeza ser vestidos con nuestra casa celestial;
Y por esto también gemimos, deseando ser sobrevestidos de aquella nuestra habitación celestial;
For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
For most certainly in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,
la cual nos cubrirá como un vestido para que no se desnude nuestro espíritu.
Puesto que en verdad habremos sido hallados vestidos, y no desnudos.
If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
if indeed being clothed, we will not be found naked.
Porque en verdad, los que estamos en esta tienda damos gemidos de angustia, porque no quisiéramos ser desnudados, pero ser revestidos de tal modo que lo mortal pueda ser vencido por la vida.
Porque asimismo los que estamos en este tabernáculo, gemimos agravados; porque no quisiéramos ser desnudados, sino sobrevestidos, para que lo mortal sea absorbido por la vida.
For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened, not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
Ahora el que nos ha creado para esto es Dios, que nos ha dado el Espíritu como testimonio de lo que está por venir.
Mas el que nos hizo para esto mismo, es Dios; el cual nos ha dado la prenda del Espíritu.
Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Así que, entonces, confíen siempre, y aunque somos conscientes de que mientras estamos en el cuerpo estamos ausentes del Señor,

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

Confiamos, y quisiéramos más bien salir de este cuerpo y estar presente con el Señor.
Mas confiamos, y más quisiéramos partir del cuerpo, y estar presentes al Señor.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
We are courageous, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
Por esta razón, procuramos agradar siempre al Señor en el cuerpo o fuera de él.
Por tanto procuramos también, ó ausentes, ó presentes, serle agradables:
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.
Porque todos tenemos que venir ante Cristo para ser juzgados; para que cada uno de nosotros obtenga su recompensa por las cosas hechas en el cuerpo, buenas o malas.
Porque es menester que todos nosotros parezcamos ante el tribunal de Cristo, para que cada uno reciba según lo que hubiere hecho por medio del cuerpo, ora sea bueno ó malo.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Teniendo en mente, entonces, él temor del Señor, ponemos estas cosas delante de los hombres, pero Dios ve nuestros corazones; a Dios es manifiesto lo que somos y confío que podamos parecer justos a sus ojos.
Estando pues poseídos del temor del Señor, persuadimos á los hombres, mas á Dios somos manifiestos; y espero que también en vuestras conciencias somos manifiestos.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

No estamos solicitando su aprobación nuevamente, pero le damos la oportunidad de enorgullecerse de nosotros, para que puedan dar una respuesta a aquellos que presumen de las apariencias, y no de lo que hay en el corazón.
No nos encomendamos pues otra vez á vosotros, sino os damos ocasión de gloriaros por nosotros, para que tengáis qué responder contra los que se glorían en las apariencias, y no en el corazón.
For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

Porque es el amor de Cristo el que gobierna nuestros corazones; porque somos de la opinión de que si uno fue condenado a muerte por todos, entonces todos han sufrido la muerte;

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

y que sufrió la muerte por todos, para que los vivos ya no vivan para sí mismos, sino para el que murió por ellos y resucitó de entre los muertos.
Y por todos murió, para que los que viven, ya no vivan para sí, mas para aquel que murió y resucitó por ellos.
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
Por esta razón, de aquí en adelante no conocemos a ningún hombre según la carne: aun si hemos conocido Cristo según la carne, ya no lo conocemos así.
De manera que nosotros de aquí adelante á nadie conocemos según la carne: y aun si á Cristo conocimos según la carne, empero ahora ya no le conocemos.
Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
Therefore we know no one according to the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
Así que, si alguno está en Cristo, nueva criatura es; las cosas viejas han llegado a su fin; realmente todo se ha hecho nuevo.
De modo que si alguno está en Cristo, nueva criatura es: las cosas viejas pasaron; he aquí todas son hechas nuevas.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Pero todas las cosas son de Dios, quien nos ha reconciliado consigo mismo por medio de Jesucristo, y nos ha dado el ministerio de reconciliación;
Y todo esto es de Dios, el cual nos reconcilió á sí por Cristo; y nos dió el ministerio de la reconciliación.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Es decir, que Dios estaba en Cristo reconciliando consigo al mundo, no poniendo sus pecados en su cuenta, y a nosotros nos encargó el mensaje de reconciliación.
Porque ciertamente Dios estaba en Cristo reconciliando el mundo á sí, no imputándole sus pecados, y puso en nosotros la palabra de la reconciliación.
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Así que somos embajadores de Cristo, como si Dios te estuviera rogando a través de nosotros: te pedimos, en el nombre de Cristo, que te reconcilies con Dios.
Así que, somos embajadores en nombre de Cristo, como si Dios rogase por medio nuestro; os rogamos en nombre de Cristo: Reconciliaos con Dios.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
Porque el que no conoció el pecado, Dios lo hizo pecado por nosotros; para que a través de Cristo seamos justificados de Dios en él.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
