als Verkannte (Unbekannte), und doch erkannt, als in Todesgefahr Schwebende (Sterbende/Erschlagene), und siehe!, wir leben, als (von Gott?) Gezüchtigte, aber nicht Getötete,

Como ignorados, mas conocidos; como muriendo, mas he aquí vivimos; como castigados, mas no muertos;

As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
