Als (Gottes) Mitarbeiter aber ermahnen wir euch auch: (Seid darauf bedacht) die Gnade Gottes nicht vergeblich anzunehmen! –
Y ASÍ nosotros, como ayudadores juntamente con él, os exhortamos también á que no recibáis en vano la gracia de Dios,
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.
Es steht ja geschrieben: »Zur willkommenen Zeit habe ich dich erhört und am Tage des Heils dir geholfen.« Seht, jetzt ist die hochwillkommene Zeit, seht, jetzt ist der Tag des Heils!
(Porque dice: En tiempo aceptable te he oído, y en día de salud te he socorrido: he aquí ahora el tiempo aceptable; he aquí ahora el día de salud:)
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
Und dabei geben wir niemand irgendwelchen Anstoß, damit kein Tadel unsern Dienst treffe;
No dando á nadie ningún escándalo, porque el ministerio nuestro no sea vituperado:

Gebt euch nicht dazu her, mit Ungläubigen an einem fremdartigen Joch zu ziehen! Denn was haben Gerechtigkeit und Gesetzlosigkeit miteinander gemein? Oder was hat das Licht mit der Finsternis zu schaffen?
No os juntéis en yugo con los infieles: porque ¿qué compañía tiene la justicia con la injusticia? ¿y qué comunión la luz con las tinieblas?
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Wie stimmt Christus mit Beliar überein, oder welche Gemeinschaft besteht zwischen einem Gläubigen und einem Ungläubigen?
¿Y qué concordia Cristo con Belial? ¿ó qué parte el fiel con el infiel?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever?
Wie verträgt sich der Tempel Gottes mit den Götzen? Wir sind ja doch der Tempel des lebendigen Gottes, wie Gott gesagt hat: »Ich werde unter ihnen wohnen und wandeln; ich will ihr Gott sein, und sie sollen mein Volk sein.«
¿Y qué concierto el templo de Dios con los ídolos? porque vosotros sois el templo del Dios viviente, como Dios dijo: Habitaré y andaré en ellos; y seré el Dios de ellos, y ellos serán mi pueblo.
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”
Darum: »Geht aus ihrer Mitte hinweg und sondert euch (von ihnen) ab«, gebietet der Herr, »und rührt nichts Unreines an, so will ich euch aufnehmen« und:

»Ich will euch ein Vater sein, und ihr sollt mir Söhne und Töchter sein«, sagt der Herr, der Allmächtige.

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
