Como colaboradores de Dios les suplicamos que no desechen su amor.
Y ASÍ nosotros, como ayudadores juntamente con él, os exhortamos también á que no recibáis en vano la gracia de Dios,
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.
Porque Dios dice: «Escuché tu clamor en tiempo favorable, y en día de salvación te socorrí». Ahora mismo es el tiempo favorable de Dios; hoy es el día de la salvación.
(Porque dice: En tiempo aceptable te he oído, y en día de salud te he socorrido: he aquí ahora el tiempo aceptable; he aquí ahora el día de salud:)
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
Nosotros nos comportamos siempre de tal manera que nadie se escandalice, ni critique nuestro servicio.
No dando á nadie ningún escándalo, porque el ministerio nuestro no sea vituperado:
Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,
Más bien, en cada uno de nuestros actos tratamos de portarnos como servidores de Dios. Con paciencia soportamos los sufrimientos, las necesidades, las angustias.
Antes habiéndonos en todas cosas como ministros de Dios, en mucha paciencia, en tribulaciones, en necesidades, en angustias;
But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God: in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,
Nos han azotado, encarcelado y nos hemos enfrentado a airadas multitudes; hemos trabajado hasta el agotamiento, hemos pasado noches en vela y sin comer.
En azotes, en cárceles, en alborotos, en trabajos, en vigilias, en ayunos;
In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings,
Con la integridad de nuestras vidas, con nuestro entendimiento del evangelio y con nuestra paciencia y bondad hemos hecho nuestro servicio. El Espíritu Santo vive en nosotros y amamos con sinceridad.
En castidad, en ciencia, en longanimidad, en bondad, en Espíritu Santo, en amor no fingido;
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,
Hemos sido veraces gracias al poder de Dios. Nuestra arma para atacar y defendernos ha sido la justicia.
En palabra de verdad, en potencia de Dios, en armas de justicia á diestro y á siniestro;
By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

Unas veces nos honran y otras nos desprecian; unas veces nos critican y otras veces nos ensalzan; unas veces nos tienen por mentirosos, aunque decimos la verdad.
Por honra y por deshonra, por infamia y por buena fama; como engañadores, mas hombres de verdad;

Aunque todo el mundo nos conoce, nos tratan como a desconocidos; arriesgamos la vida, pero estamos vivos; nos han golpeado, pero sobrevivimos.

As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

Tenemos el corazón adolorido, pero a la vez no nos falta el gozo. Parecemos pobres, pero enriquecemos a muchos; no tenemos nada, y, sin embargo, somos dueños de todo.
Como doloridos, mas siempre gozosos; como pobres, mas enriqueciendo á muchos; como no teniendo nada, mas poseyéndolo todo.

Queridos hermanos corintios, les hemos hablado con entera franqueza; les hemos abierto nuestro corazón.
Nuestra boca está abierta á vosotros, oh Corintios: nuestro corazón es ensanchado.
O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

Nosotros les amamos mucho, pero ustedes nos niegan su amor.
No estáis estrechos en nosotros, mas estáis estrechos en vuestras propias entrañas.
Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.
Les estoy hablando ahora como si fueran mis propios hijos. ¡Correspondan al amor que les ofrezco!
Pues, para corresponder al propio modo (como á hijos hablo), ensanchaos también vosotros.
Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
Now in return—I speak as to my children—you also open your hearts.
No se unan en matrimonio con los que no creen en el Señor, porque ¿qué pueden tener en común la justicia con la maldad? ¿Cómo puede la luz llevarse bien con la oscuridad?
No os juntéis en yugo con los infieles: porque ¿qué compañía tiene la justicia con la injusticia? ¿y qué comunión la luz con las tinieblas?
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
Y ¿qué armonía puede haber entre Cristo y el diablo? ¿Cómo puede un creyente estar de acuerdo con un incrédulo?
¿Y qué concordia Cristo con Belial? ¿ó qué parte el fiel con el infiel?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever?
Y ¿qué unión puede existir entre el templo de Dios y los ídolos? Porque nosotros somos el templo del Dios viviente. Como el Señor dijo: «Viviré con ellos y caminaré entre ellos, y seré su Dios y ellos serán mi pueblo».
¿Y qué concierto el templo de Dios con los ídolos? porque vosotros sois el templo del Dios viviente, como Dios dijo: Habitaré y andaré en ellos; y seré el Dios de ellos, y ellos serán mi pueblo.
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”
Por eso el Señor añade: «Salgan de en medio de ellos, apártense; no toquen sus inmundicias, y yo los recibiré
Por lo cual salid de en medio de ellos, y apartaos, dice el Señor, y no toquéis lo inmundo; y yo os recibiré,
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
Therefore “‘Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.
y seré un Padre para ustedes, y ustedes serán mis hijos y mis hijas, dice el Señor Todopoderoso».
Y seré á vosotros Padre, y vosotros me seréis á mí hijos é hijas, dice el Señor Todopoderoso.
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
