Y así nosotros como cooperadores del Señor, os exhortamos a no recibir en vano la gracia de Dios.
Y ASÍ nosotros, como ayudadores juntamente con él, os exhortamos también á que no recibáis en vano la gracia de Dios,
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.
Pues él mismo dice: Al tiempo oportuno te oí, atenderé tus súplicas, y en el día de la salvación te di auxilio. Llegado es ahora el tiempo favorable, llegado es ahora el día de la salvación.
(Porque dice: En tiempo aceptable te he oído, y en día de salud te he socorrido: he aquí ahora el tiempo aceptable; he aquí ahora el día de salud:)
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
Nosotros, no demos a nadie motivo alguno de escándalo, para que no sea vituperado nuestro ministerio.
No dando á nadie ningún escándalo, porque el ministerio nuestro no sea vituperado:
Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,
Antes bien portémonos en todas cosas, como deben portarse los ministros de Dios, con mucha paciencia, en medio de tribulaciones, de necesidades, de angustias,

No están mis entrañas cerradas para vosotros; las vuestras sí que lo están para mí.

Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.
Volvedme, pues, amor por amor, os hablo como a hijos míos, ensanchad también para mí vuestro corazón.
Pues, para corresponder al propio modo (como á hijos hablo), ensanchaos también vosotros.
Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
Now in return—I speak as to my children—you also open your hearts.
No queráis unciros en yugo con los infieles. Porque ¿qué tiene que ver la santidad o justicia con la iniquidad? ¿Y qué compañía puede haber entre la luz y las tinieblas?

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

¿O qué concordia entre Cristo y Belial? ¿O qué parte tiene el fiel con el infiel?
¿Y qué concordia Cristo con Belial? ¿ó qué parte el fiel con el infiel?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever?
¿O qué consonancia entre el templo de Dios y los ídolos? Porque vosotros sois templo de Dios vivo, según aquello que dice Dios: Habitaré dentro de ellos, y en medio de ellos andaré, y yo seré su Dios, y ellos serán mi pueblo.
¿Y qué concierto el templo de Dios con los ídolos? porque vosotros sois el templo del Dios viviente, como Dios dijo: Habitaré y andaré en ellos; y seré el Dios de ellos, y ellos serán mi pueblo.
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”
Por lo cual salid vosotros de entre tales gentes, y separaos de ellas, dice el Señor, y no tengáis contacto con la inmundicia o idolatría;
Por lo cual salid de en medio de ellos, y apartaos, dice el Señor, y no toquéis lo inmundo; y yo os recibiré,
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
Therefore “‘Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.
y yo os acogeré, y seré yo vuestro padre, y vosotros seréis mis hijos y mis hijas, dice el Señor todopoderoso.
Y seré á vosotros Padre, y vosotros me seréis á mí hijos é hijas, dice el Señor Todopoderoso.
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
