Auf daß, wie ich sagte, ihr vorbereitet wäret, und wir †ich will nicht sagen ihr, wenn Mazedonier mit mir kämen und euch unvorbereitet fänden, mit solch zuversichtlichem Rühmen zuschanden würden.

No sea que, si vinieren conmigo Macedonios, y os hallaren desapercibidos, nos avergoncemos nosotros, por no decir vosotros, de este firme gloriarnos.

Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

lest by any means, if anyone from Macedonia comes there with me and finds you unprepared, we (to say nothing of you) would be disappointed in this confident boasting.
