2 Corintios 9

Car de vous écrire touchant la collecte qui se fait pour les Saints, ce me serait une chose superflue.

PORQUE cuanto á la suministración para los santos, por demás me es escribiros;

For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:

It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the saints,

Vu que je sais la promptitude de votre zèle, en quoi je me glorifie de vous devant ceux de Macédoine, leur faisant entendre que l’Achaïe est prête dès l’année passée ; et votre zèle en a excité plusieurs.

Pues conozco vuestro pronto ánimo, del cual me glorío yo entre los de Macedonia, que Acaya está apercibida desde el año pasado; y vuestro ejemplo ha estimulado á muchos.

For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.

for I know your readiness, of which I boast on your behalf to those of Macedonia, that Achaia has been prepared for the past year. Your zeal has stirred up very many of them.

Or j’ai envoyé ces frères, afin que ce en quoi je me suis glorifié de vous, ne soit pas vain en cette occasion, et que vous soyez prêts, comme j’ai dit.

Mas he enviado los hermanos, porque nuestra gloria de vosotros no sea vana en esta parte; para que, como lo he dicho, estéis apercibidos;

Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:

But I have sent the brothers so that our boasting on your behalf may not be in vain in this respect, that, just as I said, you may be prepared,

De peur que ceux de Macédoine venant avec moi, et ne vous trouvant pas prêts, nous n’ayons de la honte, (pour ne pas dire vous-mêmes) de l’assurance avec laquelle nous nous sommes glorifiés de vous.

No sea que, si vinieren conmigo Macedonios, y os hallaren desapercibidos, nos avergoncemos nosotros, por no decir vosotros, de este firme gloriarnos.

Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

lest by any means, if anyone from Macedonia comes there with me and finds you unprepared, we (to say nothing of you) would be disappointed in this confident boasting.

C’est pourquoi j’ai estimé qu’il était nécessaire de prier les frères d’aller premièrement vers vous, et d’achever de préparer votre bénéficence que vous avez déjà promise ; afin qu’elle soit prête comme une bénéficence, et non pas comme une chicheté.

Por tanto, tuve por cosa necesaria exhortar á los hermanos que fuesen primero á vosotros, y apresten primero vuestra bendición antes prometida, para que esté aparejada como de bendición, y no como de mezquindad.

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.

I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brothers that they would go before to you and arrange ahead of time the generous gift that you promised before, that the same might be ready as a matter of generosity, and not of greediness.

Or je vous dis ceci : que celui qui sème chichement, recueillera aussi chichement ; et que celui qui sème libéralement, recueillera aussi libéralement.

Esto empero digo: El que siembra escasamente, también segará escasamente; y el que siembra en bendiciones, en bendiciones también segará.

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Mais que chacun contribue selon qu’il se l’est proposé en son coeur, non point à regret, ou par contrainte ; car Dieu aime celui qui donne gaiement.

Cada uno dé como propuso en su corazón: no con tristeza, ó por necesidad; porque Dios ama el dador alegre.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Et Dieu est puissant pour faire abonder toute grâce en vous, afin qu’ayant toujours tout ce qui suffit en toute chose, vous soyez abondants en toute bonne oeuvre :

Y poderoso es Dios para hacer que abunde en vosotros toda gracia; á fin de que, teniendo siempre en todas las cosas todo lo que basta, abundéis para toda buena obra:

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.

Selon ce qui est écrit : il a répandu, il a donné aux pauvres ; sa justice demeure éternellement.

Como está escrito: Derramó, dió á los pobres; su justicia permanece para siempre.

(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

As it is written, “He has scattered abroad. He has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever.”

Or celui qui fournit de la semence au semeur, veuille aussi vous donner du pain à manger, et multiplier votre semence, et augmenter les revenus de votre justice.

Y el que da simiente al que siembra, también dará pan para comer, y multiplicará vuestra sementera, y aumentará los crecimientos de los frutos de vuestra justicia;

Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

Etant pleinement enrichis pour exercer une parfaite libéralité, laquelle fait que nous en rendons grâces à Dieu.

Para que estéis enriquecidos en todo para toda bondad, la cual obra por nosotros hacimiento de gracias á Dios.

Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

you being enriched in everything for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.

Car l’administration de cette oblation n’est pas seulement suffisante pour subvenir aux nécessités des Saints, mais elle abonde aussi de telle sorte, que plusieurs ont de quoi en rendre grâces à Dieu.

Porque la suministración de este servicio, no solamente suple lo que á los santos falta, sino también abunda en muchos hacimientos de gracias á Dios:

For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

For this service of giving that you perform not only makes up for lack among the saints, but abounds also through much giving of thanks to God,

Glorifiant Dieu pour l’épreuve qu’ils font de cette assistance, en ce que vous vous soumettez à l’Évangile de Christ ; et de votre prompte et libérale communication envers eux, et envers tous.

Que por la experiencia de esta suministración glorifican á Dios por la obediencia que profesáis al evangelio de Cristo, y por la bondad de contribuir para ellos y para todos;

Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;

seeing that through the proof given by this service, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the Good News of Christ and for the generosity of your contribution to them and to all,

Ils prient Dieu pour vous, et ils vous aiment très affectueusement à cause de la grâce excellente que Dieu vous a accordée.

Asimismo por la oración de ellos á favor vuestro, los cuales os quieren á causa de la eminente gracia de Dios en vosotros.

And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

while they themselves also, with supplication on your behalf, yearn for you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you.

Or grâces soient rendues à Dieu à cause de son don inexprimable.

Gracias á Dios por su don inefable.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

Now thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!
