Da ich euch vieles zu schreiben habe, wollte ich es nicht mit Papier und Tinte tun, sondern ich hoffe, zu euch zu kommen und mündlich mit euch zu reden, damit unsere Freude völlig sei.

Aunque tengo muchas cosas que escribiros, no he querido comunicarlas por medio de papel y tinta; mas espero ir á vosotros, y hablar boca á boca, para que nuestro gozo sea cumplido.

Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
