Hierauf ließ Jehu alle, die in Jesreel vom Hause Ahabs noch übrig waren, umbringen, auch alle seine Großen, seine Vertrauten und seine Priester, bis er ihm keinen einzigen mehr am Leben übriggelassen hatte.
