30L’Éternel dit à Jéhu: Parce que tu as bien exécuté ce qui était droit à mes yeux, et que tu as fait à la maison d’Achab tout ce qui était conforme à ma volonté, tes fils jusqu’à la quatrième génération seront assis sur le trône d’Israël.

30And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

30The LORD said to Jehu, “Because you have done well in executing that which is right in my eyes, and have done to Ahab’s house according to all that was in my heart, your descendants shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”
