Por aquel tiempo, el Señor comenzó a quitarle territorio a Israel. El rey Jazael atacó a Israel por todas partes, y les quitó las regiones de Galaad, Gat y Rubén; también conquistó parte de Manasés, desde el río Aroer, cerca del arroyo de Arnón, hasta Galaad y Basán.

En aquellos días comenzó Jehová á talar en Israel: é hiriólos Hazael en todos los términos de Israel,

In those days the LORD began to cut Israel short: and Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel;

In those days the LORD began to cut away parts of Israel; and Hazael struck them in all the borders of Israel
