Ahab aber hatte siebenzig Sohne zu Samaria. Und Jehu schrieb Briefe und sandte sie gen Samaria zu den Obersten der Stadt Jesreel, zu den Altesten und Vormundern Ahabs, die lauteten also:

Y TENÍA Achâb en Samaria setenta hijos; y escribió letras Jehú, y enviólas á Samaria á los principales de Jezreel, á los ancianos y á los ayos de Achâb, diciendo:

And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab’s children, saying,

Now Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria, to the rulers of Jezreel, even the elders, and to those who brought up Ahab’s sons, saying,

Wenn dieser Brief zu euch kommt, bei denen eures Herrn Sohne sind, Wagen, Rosse, feste Stadte und Rustung,

Luego en llegando estas letras á vosotros los que tenéis los hijos de vuestro señor, y los que tenéis carros y gente de á caballo, la ciudad pertrechada, y las armas,

Now as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing your master’s sons are with you, and there are with you chariots and horses, a fenced city also, and armour;

“Now as soon as this letter comes to you, since your master’s sons are with you, and you have chariots and horses, a fortified city also, and armor,

so sehet, welcher der beste und geschickteste sei unter den Sohnen eures Herrn und setzet ihn auf seines Vaters Stuhl und streitet fur eures Herrn Haus.

Mirad cuál es el mejor y él más recto de los hijos de vuestro señor, y ponedlo en el trono de su padre, y pelead por la casa de vuestro señor.

Look even out the best and meetest of your master’s sons, and set him on his father’s throne, and fight for your master’s house.

select the best and fittest of your master’s sons, set him on his father’s throne, and fight for your master’s house.”

Sie aber furchteten sich fast sehr und sprachen: Siehe, zween Konige sind nicht gestanden vor ihm, wie wollen wir denn stehen?

Mas ellos tuvieron gran temor, y dijeron: He aquí dos reyes no pudieron resistirle, ¿cómo le resistiremos nosotros?

But they were exceedingly afraid, and said, Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand?

Und die fiber das Haus und fiber die Stadt waren, und die Altesten und Vormunder sandten hin zu Jehu und ließen ihm sagen: Wir sind deine Knechte; wir wollen alles tun, was du uns sagst; wir wollen niemand zum Konige machen. Tue, was dir gefallt!

Y el mayordomo, y el presidente de la ciudad, y los ancianos, y los ayos, enviaron á decir á Jehú: Siervos tuyos somos, y haremos todo lo que nos mandares: no elegiremos por rey á ninguno; tú harás lo que bien te pareciere.

And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.

He who was over the household, and he who was over the city, the elders also, and those who raised the children, sent to Jehu, saying, “We are your servants, and will do all that you ask us. We will not make any man king. You do that which is good in your eyes.”

Da schrieb er den andern Brief zu ihnen, der lautete also: So ihr mein seid und meiner Stimme gehorchet, so nehmet die Haupter von den Mannern, eures Herrn Sohnen, und bringet sie zu mir morgen urn diese Zeit gen Jesreel. (Der Sohne aber des Konigs waren siebenzig Mann, und die Großten der Stadt zogen sie auf.)

El entonces les escribió la segunda vez, diciendo: Si sois míos, y queréis obedecerme, tomad las cabezas de los varones hijos de vuestro señor, y venid mañana á estas horas á mí á Jezreel. Y los hijos del rey, setenta varones, estaban con los principales de la ciudad, que los criaban.

Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king’s sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.

Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, “If you are on my side, and if you will listen to my voice, take the heads of the men who are your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by tomorrow this time.” Now the king’s sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, who brought them up.

Da nun der Brief zu ihnen kam, nahmen sie des Konigs Sohne und schlachteten siebenzig Mann; und legten ihre Haupter in Korbe und schickten sie zu ihm gen Jesreel.

Y como las letras llegaron á ellos, tomaron á los hijos del rey, y degollaron setenta varones, y pusieron sus cabezas en canastillos, y enviáronselas á Jezreel.

And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king’s sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.

Und da der Bote kam und sagte es ihm an und sprach: Sie haben die Haupter des Konigs Kinder gebracht, sprach er: Legt sie auf zween Haufen vor der Tür am Tor bis morgen.

Y vino un mensajero que le dió las nuevas, diciendo: Traído han las cabezas de los hijos del rey. Y él le dijo: Ponedlas en dos montones á la entrada de la puerta hasta la mañana.

And there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king’s sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.

A messenger came and told him, “They have brought the heads of the king’s sons.” He said, “Lay them in two heaps at the entrance of the gate until the morning.”

Und des Morgens, da er ausging, trat er dahin und sprach zu allem Volk: Ihrwolltja recht haben. Siehe, habe ich wider meinen Herrn einen Bund gemacht und ihn erwürget? Wer hat denn diese alle geschlagen?

Venida la mañana, salió él, y estando en pie dijo á todo el pueblo: Vosotros sois justos: he aquí yo he conspirado contra mi señor, y lo he muerto: ¿mas quién ha muerto á todos estos?

And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?

In the morning, he went out and stood, and said to all the people, “You are righteous. Behold, I conspired against my master and killed him, but who killed all these?

So erkennet ihr ja, daß kein Wort des HERRN ist auf die Erde gefallen, das der HERR geredet hat wider das Haus Ahabs; und der HERR hat getan, wie er geredet hat durch seinen Knecht Elia.

Sabed ahora que de la palabra de Jehová que habló sobre la casa de Achâb, nada caerá en tierra: y que Jehová ha hecho lo que dijo por su siervo Elías.

Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.

Know now that nothing will fall to the earth of the LORD’s word, which the LORD spoke concerning Ahab’s house. For the LORD has done that which he spoke by his servant Elijah.”

Also schlug Jehu alle ubrigen vom Hause Ahabs zu Jesreel, alle seine Großen, seine Verwandten und seine Priester, bis daß ihm nicht einer uberblieb.

Mató entonces Jehú á todos los que habían quedado de la casa de Achâb en Jezreel, y á todos sus príncipes, y á todos sus familiares, y á sus sacerdotes, que no le quedó ninguno.

So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.

So Jehu struck all that remained of Ahab’s house in Jezreel, with all his great men, his familiar friends, and his priests, until he left him no one remaining.

Und machte sich auf, zog hin und kam gen Samaria. Unterwegen aberwarein Hirtenhaus.

Y levantóse de allí, y vino á Samaria; y llegando él en el camino á una casa de esquileo de pastores,

And he arose and departed, and came to Samaria. And as he was at the shearing house in the way,

Da traf Jehu an die Bruder Ahasjas, des Konigs Judas, und sprach: Wer seid ihr? Sie sprachen: Wir sind Bruder Ahasjas und ziehen hinab, zu grußen des Konigs Kinder und der Konigin Kinder.

Halló allí á los hermanos de Ochôzías rey de Judá, y díjoles: ¿Quién sois vosotros? Y ellos dijeron: Somos hermanos de Ochôzías, y hemos venido á saludar á los hijos del rey, y á los hijos de la reina.

Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who are ye? And they answered, We are the brethren of Ahaziah; and we go down to salute the children of the king and the children of the queen.

Jehu met with the brothers of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, “Who are you?” They answered, “We are the brothers of Ahaziah. We are going down to greet the children of the king and the children of the queen.”

Eraber sprach: Greifetsie lebendig! Und sie griffen sie lebendig und schlachteten sie bei dem Brunnen am Hirtenhaus, zweiundvierzig Mann, und liefi nicht einen von ihnen ubrig.

Entonces él dijo: Prendedlos vivos. Y después que los tomaron vivos, degolláronlos junto al pozo de la casa de esquileo, cuarenta y dos varones, sin dejar ninguno de ellos.

And he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive, and slew them at the pit of the shearing house, even two and forty men; neither left he any of them.

He said, “Take them alive!” They took them alive, and killed them at the pit of the shearing house, even forty-two men. He didn’t leave any of them.

Und da ervon dannen zog, fand er Jonadab, den Sohn Rechabs, der ihm begegnete, und grußte ihn und sprach zu ihm: Ist dein Herz richtig, wie mein Herz mit deinem Herzen? Jonadab sprach: Ja. Ist's also, so gib mir deine Hand. Und er gab ihm seine Hand. Und er liefi ihn zu ihm auf den Wagen sitzen

Partiéndose luego de allí encontróse con Jonadab hijo de Rechâb; y después que lo hubo saludado, díjole: ¿Es recto tu corazón, como el mío es recto con el tuyo? Y Jonadab dijo: Lo es. Pues que lo es, dame la mano. Y él le dió su mano. Hízolo luego subir consigo en el carro.

And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.

When he had departed from there, he met Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him. He greeted him, and said to him, “Is your heart right, as my heart is with your heart?” Jehonadab answered, “It is.” “If it is, give me your hand.” He gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.

und sprach: Komm mit mir und sieh meinen Eifer urn den HERRN. Und sie fuhreten ihn mit ihm auf seinen Wagen.

Y díjole: Ven conmigo, y verás mi celo por Jehová. Pusiéronlo pues en su carro.

And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.

He said, “Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD.” So they made him ride in his chariot.

Und da ergen Samaria kam, schlug eralies, was ubrig war von Ahab, zu Samaria, bis daß er ihn vertilgete, nach dem Wort des HERRN, das erzu Elia geredet hatte.

Y luego que hubo Jehú llegado á Samaria, mató á todos los que habían quedado de Achâb en Samaria, hasta extirparlos, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, que había hablado por Elías.

And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.

When he came to Samaria, he struck all who remained to Ahab in Samaria, until he had destroyed them, according to the LORD’s word which he spoke to Elijah.

Und Jehu versammelte alles Volk und ließ zu ihnen sagen: Ahab hat Baal wenig gedienet, Jehu will ihm baß dienen.

Y juntó Jehú todo el pueblo, y díjoles: Achâb sirvió poco á Baal; mas Jehú lo servirá mucho.

And Jehu gathered all the people together, and said unto them, Ahab served Baal a little; but Jehu shall serve him much.

Jehu gathered all the people together, and said to them, “Ahab served Baal a little, but Jehu will serve him much.

So laßt nun rufen alle Propheten Baals, alle seine Knechte und alle seine Priester zu mir, daß man niemands vermisse; denn ich habe ein groß Opfer dem Baal zu tun. Wes man vermissen wird, der soil nicht leben. Aber Jehu tat solches zu untertreten, daß er die Diener Baals umbrachte.

Llamadme pues luego á todos los profetas de Baal, á todos sus siervos, y á todos sus sacerdotes; que no falte uno, porque tengo un gran sacrifico para Baal; cualquiera que faltare, no vivirá. Esto hacía Jehú con astucia, para destruir á los que honraban á Baal.

Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.

Now therefore call to me all the prophets of Baal, all of his worshipers, and all of his priests. Let no one be absent, for I have a great sacrifice to Baal. Whoever is absent, he shall not live.” But Jehu did deceptively, intending to destroy the worshipers of Baal.

Und Jehu sprach: Heiliget dem Baal das Fest und laßtes ausrufen!

Y dijo Jehú: Santificad un día solemne á Baal. Y ellos convocaron.

And Jehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

Jehu said, “Sanctify a solemn assembly for Baal!” So they proclaimed it.

Auch sandte Jehu in ganz Israel und ließ alle Diener Baals kommen, daß niemand ubrig war, der nicht kame. Und sie kamen in das Haus Baals, daß das Haus Baals voll ward an alien Enden.

Y envió Jehú por todo Israel, y vinieron todos los siervos de Baal, que no faltó ninguno que no viniese. Y entraron en el templo de Baal, y el templo de Baal se llenó de cabo á cabo.

And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.

Jehu sent through all Israel; and all the worshipers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that didn’t come. They came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was filled from one end to another.

Da sprach er zu denen, die uber das Kleiderhaus waren: Bringet alien Dienern Baals Kleider heraus! Und sie brachten die Kleider heraus.

Entonces dijo al que tenía el cargo de las vestiduras: Saca vestiduras para todos lo siervos de Baal. Y él les sacó vestimentas.

And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.

He said to him who kept the wardrobe, “Bring out robes for all the worshipers of Baal!” So he brought robes out to them.

Und Jehu ging in die Kirche Baals mit Jonadab, dem Sohn Rechabs, und sprach zu den Dienern Baals: Forschet und sehet zu, daß nicht hie unter euch sei des HERRN Diener jemand, sondern Baals Diener alleine.

Y entró Jehú con Jonadab hijo de Rechâb en el templo de Baal, y dijo á los siervos de Baal: Mirad y ved que por dicha no haya aquí entre vosotros alguno de los siervos de Jehová, sino solos los siervos de Baal.

And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the LORD, but the worshippers of Baal only.

Jehu went with Jehonadab the son of Rechab into the house of Baal. Then he said to the worshipers of Baal, “Search, and see that none of the servants of the LORD are here with you, but only the worshipers of Baal.”

Und da sie hineinkamen, Opfer und Brandopfer zu tun, bestellete ihm Jehu außen achtzig Mann und sprach: Wenn der Manner jemand entrinnet, die ich unter eure Hande gebe, so soil fur seine Seele desselben Seele sein.

Y como ellos entraron para hacer sacrificios y holocaustos, Jehú puso fuera ochenta hombres, y díjoles: Cualquiera que dejare vivo alguno de aquellos hombres que yo he puesto en vuestras manos, su vida será por la del otro.

And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.

So they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had appointed for himself eighty men outside, and said, “If any of the men whom I bring into your hands escape, he who lets him go, his life shall be for the life of him.”

Da er nun die Brandopfer vollendet hatte, sprach Jehu zu den Trabanten und Rittern: Gehet hinein und schlaget jedermann; lasset niemand herausgehen! Und sie schlugen sie mit der Scharfe des Schwerts. Und die Trabanten und Ritter warfen sie weg und gingen zur Stadt der Kirche Baals.

Y después que acabaron ellos de hacer el holocausto, Jehú dijo á los de su guardia y á los capitanes: Entrad, y matadlos; que no escape ninguno. Y los hirieron á cuchillo: y dejáronlos tendidos los de la guardia y los capitanes, y fueron hasta la ciudad del templo de Baal.

And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.

As soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, “Go in and kill them! Let no one escape.” So they struck them with the edge of the sword. The guard and the captains threw the bodies out, and went to the inner shrine of the house of Baal.

Und brachten heraus die Saulen in der Kirche Baals und verbrannten sie.

Y sacaron las estatuas de la casa de Baal, y quemáronlas.

And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.

They brought out the pillars that were in the house of Baal and burned them.

Und zerbrachen die Saule Baals samt der Kirche Baals und machten ein heimlich Gemach draus bis auf diesen Tag.

Y quebraron la estatua de Baal, y derribaron la casa de Baal, é hiciéronla necesaria, hasta hoy.

And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house unto this day.

They broke down the pillar of Baal, and broke down the house of Baal, and made it a latrine, to this day.

Also vertilgete Jehu den Baal aus Israel.

Así extinguió Jehú á Baal de Israel.

Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

Aber von den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohns Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte, ließ Jehu nicht, von den güldenen Kalbern zu Bethel und zu Dan.

Con todo eso Jehú no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, que hizo pecar á Israel; á saber, de en pos de los becerros de oro que estaban en Beth-el y en Dan.

Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Beth-el, and that were in Dan.

However, Jehu didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin—the golden calves that were in Bethel and that were in Dan.

Und der HERR sprach zu Jehu: Darum, daß du willig gewesen bist zu tun, was mir gefallen hat, und hast am Hause Ahabs getan alles, was in meinem Herzen war, sollen dir. auf deinem Stuhl Israels sitzen deine Kinder ins vierte Glied.

Y Jehová dijo á Jehú: Por cuanto has hecho bien ejecutando lo recto delante de mis ojos, é hiciste á la casa de Achâb conforme á todo lo que estaba en mi corazón, tus hijos se sentarán sobre el trono de Israel hasta la cuarta generación.

And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

The LORD said to Jehu, “Because you have done well in executing that which is right in my eyes, and have done to Ahab’s house according to all that was in my heart, your descendants shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”

Aber doch hielt Jehu nicht, daß er im Gesetz des HERRN, des Gottes Israels, wandelte von ganzem Herzen; denn er ließ nicht von den Sunden Jerobeams, der Israel hatte sundigen gemacht.

Mas Jehú no cuidó de andar en la ley de Jehová Dios de Israel con todo su corazón, ni se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, el que había hecho pecar á Israel.

But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.

But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam, with which he made Israel to sin.

Zur selbigen Zeit fing der HERR an, überdrussig zu werden uber Israel; denn Hasael schlug sie in alien Grenzen Israels,

En aquellos días comenzó Jehová á talar en Israel: é hiriólos Hazael en todos los términos de Israel,

In those days the LORD began to cut Israel short: and Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel;

In those days the LORD began to cut away parts of Israel; and Hazael struck them in all the borders of Israel

vom Jordan gegen derßonnen Aufgang und das ganze Land Gilead der Gaditer, Rubeniter und Manassiter, von Aroer an, die am Bach bei Arnon liegt, und Gilead und Basan.

Desde el Jordán al nacimiento del sol, toda la tierra de Galaad, de Gad, de Rubén, y de Manasés, desde Aroer que está junto al arroyo de Arnón, á Galaad y á Basán.

From Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.

Was aber mehr von Jehu zu sagen ist, und alles, was er getan hat, und alle seine Macht, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Konige Israels.

Lo demás de los hechos de Jehú, y todas las cosas que hizo, y toda su valentía, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?

Und Jehu entschlief mit seinen Vatern, und sie begruben ihn zu Samaria. Und Joahas, sein Sohn, ward Konig an seiner Statt.

Y durmió Jehú con sus padres, y sepultáronlo en Samaria: y reinó en su lugar Joachâz su hijo.

And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead.

Die Zeit aber, die Jehu uber Israel regieret hat zu Samaria, sind achtundzwanzig Jahre.

El tiempo que reinó Jehú sobre Israel en Samaria, fué veintiocho años.

And the time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty and eight years.
