7rief der König Joas den Priester Jojada samt den Priestern und sprach zu ihnen: Warum bessert ihr nicht, was baufällig ist am Hause? So sollt ihr nun nicht zu euch nehmen das Geld, ein jeglicher von seinen Bekannten, sondern sollt's geben zu dem, das baufällig ist am Hause.

7Llamando entonces el rey Joas al pontífice Joiada y á los sacerdotes, díjoles: ¿Por qué no reparáis las aberturas del templo? Ahora pues, no toméis más el dinero de vuestros familiares, sino dadlo para reparar las roturas del templo.

7Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house.
World English Bible
7Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the other priests, and said to them, “Why aren’t you repairing the damage to the house? Now therefore take no more money from your treasurers, but deliver it for repair of the damage to the house.”
