Aber Joahas bat des HERRN Angesicht. Und der HERR erhorete ihn; denn er sah den Jammer Israels an, wie sie der Konig zu Syrien drangete.

Mas Joachâz oró á la faz de Jehová, y Jehová lo oyó: porque miró la aflicción de Israel, pues el rey de Siria los afligía.

And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.
