Mais Joachaz supplia l’Eternel ; et l’Eternel l’exauça ; parce qu’il vit l’oppression d’Israël, car le Roi de Syrie les opprimait.

Mas Joachâz oró á la faz de Jehová, y Jehová lo oyó: porque miró la aflicción de Israel, pues el rey de Siria los afligía.

And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.

Jehoahaz begged the LORD, and the LORD listened to him; for he saw the oppression of Israel, how the king of Syria oppressed them.
