Im Jahre dreiundzwanzig der Jahre des Joasch, des Sohnes von Achasjahu, dem König von Judah, ward Jehoachas, der Sohn Jehus, König über Israel in Samaria, siebzehn Jahre.

EN el año veintitrés de Joas hijo de Ochôzías, rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Joachâz hijo de Jehú sobre Israel en Samaria; y reinó diecisiete años.

In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah king of Judah Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned seventeen years.

In the twenty-third year of Joash the son of Ahaziah, king of Judah, Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria for seventeen years.

Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovahs, und wandelte nach den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte, er wich nicht davon ab.

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, y siguió los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar á Israel; y no se apartó de ellos.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.

Und es entbrannte der Zorn Jehovahs wider Israel, und er gab sie in die Hand Chasaels, König von Aram, und in die Hand Ben-Hadads, des Sohnes von Chasael, alle Tage.

Y encendióse el furor de Jehová contra Israel, y entrególos en mano de Hazael rey de Siria, y en mano de Ben-adad hijo de Hazael, por largo tiempo.

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-hadad the son of Hazael, all their days.

The LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, continually.

Und Jehoachas flehte das Angesicht Jehovahs an, und Jehovah hörte auf ihn; denn er sah die Unterdrückung Israels, wie der König Aram sie unterdrückte.

Mas Joachâz oró á la faz de Jehová, y Jehová lo oyó: porque miró la aflicción de Israel, pues el rey de Siria los afligía.

And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.

Und Jehovah gab Israel einen Retter, daß sie ausgingen aus Arams Hand und die Söhne Israels wohnten in ihren Zelten wie gestern und ehegestern.

(Y dió Jehová salvador á Israel, y salieron de bajo la mano de los Siros; y habitaron los hijos de Israel en sus estancias, como antes.

(And the LORD gave Israel a saviour, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians: and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents, as beforetime.

Doch wichen sie nicht ab von den Sünden des Hauses Jerobeams, der Israel sündigen machte, sie wandelten darinnen; und auch die Aschere blieb stehen in Samaria.

Con todo eso no se apartaron de los pecados de la casa de Jeroboam, el que hizo pecar á Israel: en ellos anduvieron; y también el bosque permaneció en Samaria.)

Nevertheless they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but walked therein: and there remained the grove also in Samaria.)

Denn es verblieb dem Jehoachas nicht mehr Volkes als fünfzig Reiter und zehn Streitwagen und zehntausend Fußvolk; denn der König von Aram hatte sie zugrunde gerichtet, und sie gemacht, wie den Staub beim Dreschen.

Porque no le había quedado gente á Joachâz, sino cincuenta hombres de á caballo, y diez carros, y diez mil hombres de á pié; pues el rey de Siria los había destruído, y los había puesto como polvo para hollar.

Neither did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing.

Und Jehoachas entschlief zu seinen Vätern, und sie begruben ihn in Samaria, und Joasch, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Stelle.

El año treinta y siete de Joas rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Joas hijo de Joachâz sobre Israel en Samaria; y reinó dieciséis años.

In the thirty and seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned sixteen years.

Und tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovahs. Er wich nicht ab von all den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte; er wandelte darin.

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová: no se apartó de todos los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar á Israel; en ellos anduvo.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin: but he walked therein.

Und die übrige Geschichte des Joasch und alles, was er tat, und seine Macht, wie er mit Amazjah, dem Könige Judahs, stritt, ist es nicht geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Israels?

Und Joasch entschlief zu seinen Vätern, und Jerobeam saß auf seinem Thron, Joasch aber ward begraben in Samaria bei den Königen von Israel.

Und Elischa ward krank an seiner Krankheit, an der er starb. Und Joasch, König von Israel, kam zu ihm herab und weinte vor ihm und sprach: Mein Vater, mein Vater! Streitwagen Israels und seine Reiter!

Estaba Eliseo enfermo de aquella su enfermedad de que murió. Y descendió á él Joas rey de Israel, y llorando delante de él, dijo: ¡Padre mío, padre mío, carro de Israel y su gente de á caballo!

Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.

Now Elisha became sick with the illness of which he died; and Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over him, and said, “My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!”

Und Elischa sprach zu ihm: Nimm Bogen und Pfeile; und er nahm zu sich Bogen und Pfeile.

And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows.

Und er sprach zu dem Könige von Israel: Lege deine Hand auf den Bogen. Und er legte seine Hand an, und Elischa legte seine Hände auf des Königs Hände.

Y dijo Eliseo al rey de Israel: Pon tu mano sobre el arco. Y puso él su mano sobre el arco. Entonces puso Eliseo sus manos sobre las manos del rey,

And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands.

He said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow;” and he put his hand on it. Elisha laid his hands on the king’s hands.

Und sprach: Öffne das Fenster gegen Morgen, und er öffnete es. Und Elischa sprach: Schieße! Und er schoß. Und er sprach: Ein Pfeil des Heils von Jehovah und ein Pfeil des Heils wider Aram, und du wirst Aram schlagen in Aphek bis zur Vollendung.

Y dijo: Abre la ventana de hacia el oriente. Y como él la abrió dijo Eliseo: Tira. Y tirando él, dijo Eliseo: Saeta de salud de Jehová, y saeta de salud contra Siria: porque herirás á los Siros en Aphec, hasta consumirlos.

And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD’s deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.

He said, “Open the window eastward;” and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot!” and he shot. He said, “The LORD’s arrow of victory, even the arrow of victory over Syria; for you will strike the Syrians in Aphek until you have consumed them.”

Und er sprach: Nimm die Pfeile, und er nahm sie. Und er sprach zum König von Israel: Schlage auf die Erde, und er schlug dreimal und stand stille.

Y tornóle á decir: Toma las saetas. Y luego que el rey de Israel las hubo tomado, díjole: Hiere la tierra. Y él hirió tres veces, y cesó.

And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.

He said, “Take the arrows;” and he took them. He said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground;” and he struck three times, and stopped.

Und der Mann Gottes ward entrüstet über ihn und sprach: Hättest du fünf oder sechsmal geschlagen, dann hättest du Aram bis zur Vollendung geschlagen. Nun aber wirst du Aram dreimal schlagen.

Entonces el varón de Dios, enojado con él, le dijo: A herir cinco ó seis veces, herirías á Siria, hasta no quedar ninguno: empero ahora tres veces herirás á Siria.

And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

The man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times. Then you would have struck Syria until you had consumed it, but now you will strike Syria just three times.”

Und Elischa starb, und sie begruben ihn. Und es kamen Kriegshaufen der Moabiter ins Land mit dem kommenden Jahre.

Y murió Eliseo, y sepultáronlo. Entrado el año vinieron partidas de Moabitas á la tierra.

And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.

Und es geschah, daß sie einen Mann begruben; und siehe da, sie sahen den Kriegshaufen und warfen den Mann in Elischas Grab, und der Mann kam hin und berührte die Gebeine Elischas und er ward lebendig und stand auf seinen Füßen.

Y aconteció que al sepultar unos un hombre, súbitamente vieron una partida, y arrojaron al hombre en el sepulcro de Eliseo: y cuando llegó á tocar el muerto los huesos de Eliseo, revivió, y levantóse sobre sus pies.

And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.

As they were burying a man, behold, they saw a band of raiders; and they threw the man into Elisha’s tomb. As soon as the man touched Elisha’s bones, he revived, and stood up on his feet.

Und Chasael, König Arams, unterdrückte Israel alle Tage des Jehoachas.

Hazael pues, rey de Siria, afligió á Israel todo el tiempo de Joachâz.

Und Jehovah war ihnen gnädig, und erbarmte Sich ihrer, und wandte Sich ihnen zu um Seines Bundes willen mit Abraham, Isaak und Jakob, und war nicht willens, sie zu verderben, und warf sie nicht weg von Seinem Angesicht bis jetzt.

Mas Jehová tuvo misericordia de ellos, y compadecióse de ellos, y mirólos, por amor de su pacto con Abraham, Isaac y Jacob; y no quiso destruirlos ni echarlos de delante de sí hasta ahora.

And the LORD was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.

Und Chasael, König von Aram, starb, und Ben-Hadad, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Stelle.

So Hazael king of Syria died; and Ben-hadad his son reigned in his stead.

Und Jehoasch, der Sohn des Jehoachas, kehrte um und nahm aus der Hand des Ben-Hadad, des Sohnes Chasaels, die Städte, die er dem Jehoachas, seinem Vater, im Streite aus der Hand genommen hatte. Dreimal schlug ihn Joasch, und nahm zurück die Städte Israels.

Y volvió Joas hijo de Joachâz, y tomó de mano de Ben-adad hijo de Hazael, las ciudades que él había tomado de mano de Joachâz su padre en guerra. Tres veces lo batió Joas, y restituyó las ciudades á Israel.

And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Ben-hadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.
