Em Jerusalém, tramaram contra a vida dele, e ele teve de fugir para Láquis; mas seus inimigos mandaram assassinos atrás dele e o mataram ali.

E hicieron conspiración contra él en Jerusalem, y él huyó á Lachîs; mas enviaron tras él á Lachîs, y allá lo mataron.
