Deus não tinha dito ainda que apagaria o nome de Israel da face da terra, de modo que ele usou o rei Jeroboão, filho de Jeoás, para salvar a nação.

Y Jehová no había determinado raer el nombre de Israel de debajo del cielo: por tanto, los salvó por mano de Jeroboam hijo de Joas.

And the LORD said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.
