Un día envió un mensaje a Joás hijo de Joacaz y nieto de Jehú, rey de Israel, en que lo desafiaba a que saliera a la guerra contra él.

Entonces Amasías envió embajadores á Joas, hijo de Joachâz hijo de Jehú, rey de Israel, diciendo: Ven, y veámonos de rostro.

Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face.
