Menaém, filho de Gadi, veio de Tirza para Samaria. Ele atacou e matou Salum, filho de Jabes, e reinou em seu lugar.

Pues subió Manahem hijo de Gadi, de Thirsa, y vino á Samaria, é hirió á Sallum hijo de Jabes en Samaria, y matólo, y reinó en su lugar.

For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
