20Menahem obligó a todos los hombres ricos e influyentes de Israel a pagar una contribución de medio kilo de plata cada uno para dárselos al rey de Asiria. Entonces el rey de Asiria se retiró y no se quedó en el país.

20And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.
