34En términos generales, Jotán fue un buen rey. Como su padre Uzías, siguió al Señor. Pero no destruyó los santuarios de las colinas, donde el pueblo hacía sacrificios y quemaba incienso. Fue durante su reinado que se construyó la puerta superior del templo del Señor.
