Cuando Jotán murió, fue sepultado con los demás reyes de Judá en el cementerio real, en la Ciudad de David. Luego subió al trono su hijo Acaz.

Y durmió Jotham con sus padres, y fué sepultado con sus padres en la ciudad de David su padre: y reinó en su lugar Achâz su hijo.

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
