5El Señor lo atacó con lepra, la que le duró hasta el día de su muerte. Por esta razón vivió solo en una casa. Su hijo Jotán ejercía el gobierno.

5Mas Jehová hirió al rey con lepra, y fué leproso hasta el día de su muerte, y habitó en casa separada, y Jotham hijo del rey tenía el cargo del palacio, gobernando al pueblo de la tierra.

5And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
