Zacarias fez o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor, como os reis anteriores pertencentes à sua família. Como Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, ele estimulou Israel a cometer os mesmos pecados.

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, como habían hecho sus padres: no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar á Israel.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
