Y, atendiendo a una petición del rey de Asiria, quitó la tarima que se había construido dentro del templo del Señor para la celebración del sábado, así como el pasadizo que era de uso exclusivo del rey.

Asimismo la tienda del sábado que habían edificado en la casa, y el pasadizo de afuera del rey, mudólos del templo de Jehová, por causa del rey de Asiria.

And the covert for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king’s entry without, turned he from the house of the LORD for the king of Assyria.

He removed the covered way for the Sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king’s outer entrance to the LORD’s house, because of the king of Assyria.
