Un día, el rey Rezín, de Siria, y el rey Pecaj hijo de Remalías, de Israel, le declararon la guerra a Acaz, y sitiaron a Jerusalén; pero no la pudieron conquistar.

Entonces Resín rey de Siria, y Peka hijo de Remalías rey de Israel, subieron á Jerusalem para hacer guerra, y cercar á Achâz; mas no pudieron tomarla.
