La dix-septième année de Pékach fils de Rémalia, Achaz fils de Jotham Roi de Juda, commença à régner.

Cuando comenzó á reinar Achâz, era de veinte años, y reinó en Jerusalem dieciséis años: y no hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová su Dios, como David su padre;

Or Achaz avait envoyé des messagers à Tiglath-piléser Roi des Assyriens, pour lui dire : Je suis ton serviteur, et ton fils ; monte et délivre-moi de la main du Roi des Syriens, et de la main du Roi d’Israël, qui s’élèvent contre moi.

Entonces Achâz envió embajadores á Tiglath-pileser rey de Asiria, diciendo: Yo soy tu siervo y tu hijo: sube, y defiéndeme de mano del rey de Siria, y de mano del rey de Israel, que se han levantado contra mí.

So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me.

And he brought also the brasen altar, which was before the LORD, from the forefront of the house, from between the altar and the house of the LORD, and put it on the north side of the altar.

Et le Roi Achaz commanda à Urie le Sacrificateur, et lui dit : Fais fumer l’holocauste du matin, et l’oblation du soir, et l’holocauste du Roi avec son gâteau, et l’holocauste de tout le peuple du pays avec leurs gâteaux et leurs aspersions sur le grand autel, et répands tout le sang des holocaustes et tout le sang des sacrifices sur cet autel ; mais l’autel d’airain sera pour moi, afin de m’y enquérir du Seigneur.

Y mandó el rey Achâz al sacerdote Urías, diciendo: En el gran altar encenderás el holocausto de la mañana y el presente de la tarde, y el holocausto del rey y su presente, y asimismo el holocausto de todo el pueblo de la tierra y su presente y sus libaciones: y esparcirás sobre él toda la sangre de holocausto, y toda la sangre de sacrificio: y el altar de bronce será mío para preguntar en él.

And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king’s burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire by.

King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, “On the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening meal offering, the king’s burnt offering and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their meal offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice; but the bronze altar will be for me to inquire by.”

Et Urie le Sacrificateur fit comme le Roi Achaz lui avait commandé.

E hizo el sacerdote Urías conforme á todas las cosas que el rey Achâz le mandó.

And king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off them; and took down the sea from off the brasen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a pavement of stones.

Il ôta aussi de la maison de l’Eternel le couvert du Sabbat qu’on avait bâti au Temple, et l’entrée du Roi qui était en dehors, à cause du Roi des Assyriens.

Asimismo la tienda del sábado que habían edificado en la casa, y el pasadizo de afuera del rey, mudólos del templo de Jehová, por causa del rey de Asiria.

And the covert for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king’s entry without, turned he from the house of the LORD for the king of Assyria.

Puis Achaz s’endormit avec ses pères, et fut enseveli avec eux en la Cité de David ; et Ezéchias son fils régna en sa place.
