Ils avaient rendu un culte aux idoles, malgré l'ordre que l'Eternel leur avait donné de ne pas agir ainsi.

Pues servían á los ídolos, de los cuales Jehová les había dicho: Vosotros no habéis de hacer esto;

For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.

and they served idols, of which the LORD had said to them, “You shall not do this thing.”
