Und sie lielien dem Konige zu Assyrien sagen: Die Heiden, die du hast hergebracht und die Stadte Samarias damit besetzt, wissen nichts von der Weise des Gottes im Lande; darum hat er Lowen unter sie gesandt, und siehe, dieselben toten sie, weil sie nicht wissen um die Weise des Gottes im Lande.
Entonces dijeron ellos al rey de Asiria: Las gentes que tú traspasaste y pusiste en las ciudades de Samaria, no saben la costumbre del Dios de aquella tierra, y él ha echado leones en ellos, y he aquí los matan, porque no saben la costumbre del Dios de la tierra.
Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
