Salmaneser, re degli Assiri, salì contro a lui; ed Osea gli fu fatto soggetto, e gli pagava tributo.

Contra éste subió Salmanasar rey de los Asirios; y Oseas fué hecho su siervo, y pagábale tributo.

Against him came up Shalmaneser king of Assyria; and Hoshea became his servant, and gave him presents.
