Aunque reverenciaban a Yavé, designaron sacerdotes de entre ellos para los lugares altos, quienes ofrecían sacrificios a favor de ellos en los santuarios de dichos lugares.

Y temían á Jehová; é hicieron del pueblo bajo sacerdotes de los altos, quienes sacrificaban para ellos en los templos de los altos.

So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.
