L'Eternel avait traité avec eux une alliance et il leur avait donné cet ordre, disant : Vous ne craindrez pas d'autres dieux, vous ne ne vous prosternerez pas devant eux, vous ne les servirez pas et vous ne leur sacrifierez pas.

Con los cuales había Jehová hecho pacto, y les mandó, diciendo: No temeréis á otros dioses, ni los adoraréis, ni les serviréis, ni les sacrificaréis:
