Et l'Eternel fut avec lui, il réussit dans tout ce qu'il entreprit. Il se révolta contre le roi d'Assyrie et ne fut plus son vassal.

Y Jehová fué con él; y en todas las cosas á que salía prosperaba. El se rebeló contra el rey de Asiria, y no le sirvió.

And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.

The LORD was with him. Wherever he went, he prospered. He rebelled against the king of Assyria, and didn’t serve him.
