OR l'anno terzo di Osea, figliuolo di Ela, re d'Israele, Ezechia, figliuolo di Achaz, re di Giuda, cominciò a regnare.

EN el tercer año de Oseas hijo de Ela rey de Israel, comenzó á reinar Ezechîas hijo de Achâz rey de Judá.

Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign.

Egli era d'età di venticinque anni, quando cominciò a regnare; e regnò ventinove anni in Gerusalemme. E il nome di sua madre era Abi, figliuola di Zaccaria.

Cuando comenzó á reinar era de veinticinco años, y reinó en Jerusalem veintinueve años. El nombre de su madre fué Abi hija de Zachârías.

Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Abi, the daughter of Zachariah.

Egli fece quello che piace al Signore, interamente come avea fatto Davide, suo padre.

Hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, conforme á todas las cosas que había hecho David su padre.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father did.

Egli tolse via gli alti luoghi, e spezzò le statue, e tagliò i boschi, e stritolò il serpente di rame che Mosè avea fatto; perciocchè infino a quel tempo i figliuoli d'Israele gli facevano profumi; e lo chiamò Nehustan.

El quitó los altos, y quebró las imágenes, y taló los bosques, é hizo pedazos la serpiente de bronce que había hecho Moisés, porque hasta entonces le quemaban perfumes los hijos de Israel; y llamóle por nombre Nehustán.

He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

Egli mise la sua confidenza nel Signore Iddio d'Israele; e giammai, nè davanti nè dopo lui, non vi è stato alcuno pari a lui, fra tutti i re di Giuda.

En Jehová Dios de Israel puso su esperanza: después ni antes de él no hubo otro como él en todos los reyes de Judá.

He trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.

E si attenne al Signore, e non si rivolse indietro da lui; anzi osservò i comandamenti ch'egli avea dati a Mosè.

Porque se llegó á Jehová, y no se apartó de él, sino que guardó los mandamientos que Jehová prescribió á Moisés.

For he clave to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses.

Laonde il Signore fu con lui; dovunque egli andava, prosperava. Ed egli si ribellò dal re degli Assiri, e non gli fu più soggetto.

And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.

Egli percosse i Filistei fino in Gaza, e i confini di essa, dalle torri delle guardie, fino alle città forti.

Hirió también á los Filisteos hasta Gaza y sus términos, desde las torres de las atalayas hasta la ciudad fortalecida.

He smote the Philistines, even unto Gaza, and the borders thereof, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.

OR avvenne l'anno quarto del re Ezechia, ch'era il settimo di Osea, figliuolo di Ela, re d'Israele, che Salmaneser, re degli Assiri, salì contro a Samaria, e l'assediò.

En el cuarto año del rey Ezechîas, que era el año séptimo de Oseas hijo de Ela rey de Israel, subió Salmanasar rey de los Asirios contra Samaria, y cercóla.

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.

Ed in capo di tre anni fu presa; l'anno sesto d'Ezechia, ch'era il nono di Osea, re d'Israele, Samaria fu presa.

Y tomáronla al cabo de tres años; esto es, en el sexto año de Ezechîas, el cual era el año nono de Oseas rey de Israel, fué Samaria tomada.

E il re degli Assiri menò gl'Israeliti in cattività in Assiria, e li fece condurre in Hala, ed in Habor, presso al fiume Gozan, e nelle città di Media;

Y el rey de Asiria traspuso á Israel á Asiria, y púsolos en Hala, y en Habor, junto al río de Gozán, y en las ciudades de los Medos:

And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:

perciocchè non aveano ubbidito alla voce del Signore Iddio loro, ed aveano trasgredito il suo patto; tutto quello che Mosè, servitor di Dio, avea comandato, essi non aveano ubbidito, e non l'aveano messo in opera.

Por cuanto no habían atendido la voz de Jehová su Dios, antes habían quebrantado su pacto; y todas las cosas que Moisés siervo de Jehová había mandado, ni las habían escuchado, ni puesto por obra.

Because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.

Poi l'anno quartodecimo del re Ezechia, Sennacherib, re degli Assiri, salì contro a tutte le città forti di Giuda, e le prese.

Y á los catorce años del rey Ezechîas, subió Sennachêrib rey de Asiria contra todas las ciudades fuertes de Judá, y tomólas.

Ed Ezechia, re di Giuda, mandò a dire al re degli Assiri, in Lachis: Io ho fallito; partiti da me, ed io pagherò quello che tu m'imporrai. E il re degli Assiri impose ad Ezechia, re di Giuda, trecento talenti d'argento, e trenta talenti d'oro.

Entonces Ezechîas rey de Judá envió á decir al rey de Asiria en Lachîs: Yo he pecado: vuélvete de mí, y llevaré todo lo que me impusieres. Y el rey de Asiria impuso á Ezechîas rey de Judá trescientos talentos de plata, y treinta talentos de oro.

And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.

Ed Ezechia diede tutto l'argento, che si trovò nella Casa del Signore, e ne' tesori della casa reale.

Dió por tanto Ezechîas toda la plata que fué hallada en la casa de Jehová, y en los tesoros de la casa real.

And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king’s house.

In quel tempo Ezechia spiccò dalle reggi del Tempio del Signore e dagli stipiti, le piastre d'oro, con le quali egli stesso li avea coperti, e le diede al re degli Assiri.

Entonces descompuso Ezechîas las puertas del templo de Jehová, y los quiciales que el mismo rey Ezechîas había cubierto de oro, y diólo al rey de Asiria.

Poi il re degli Assiri mandò al re Ezechia, da Lachis in Gerusalemme, Tartan, e Rab-saris, e Rab-sache, con un grande stuolo. Ed essi salirono, e vennero in Gerusalemme. Ed essendo arrivati, si fermarono presso dell'acquidotto dello stagno disopra, ch'è nella strada del campo del purgator di panni;

Después el rey de Asiria envió al rey Ezechîas, desde Lachîs contra Jerusalem, á Thartán y á Rabsaris y á Rabsaces, con un grande ejército: y subieron, y vinieron á Jerusalem. Y habiendo subido, vinieron y pararon junto al conducto del estanque de arriba, que es en el camino de la heredad del batanero.

And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rab-shakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller’s field.

e gridarono al re. Allora Eliachim, figliuolo di Hilchia, mastro del palazzo, e Sebna, segretario, e Ioa, figliuolo di Asaf, cancelliere, uscirono a loro.

Llamaron luego al rey, y salió á ellos Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, que era mayordomo, y Sebna escriba, y Joah hijo de Asaph, canciller.

And when they had called to the king, there came out to them Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder.

E Rab-sache disse loro: Dite pur ora ad Ezechia: Così ha detto il gran re, il re degli Assiri: Quale è questa confidenza che tu hai avuta?

Y díjoles Rabsaces: Decid ahora á Ezechîas: Así dice el gran rey de Asiria: ¿Qué confianza es esta en que tú estás?

And Rab-shakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?

Rabshakeh said to them, “Say now to Hezekiah, ‘The great king, the king of Assyria, says, “What confidence is this in which you trust?

Tu dici, ma non sono che parole di labbra, che tu hai consiglio e forza per la guerra. Ora dunque, in cui ti sei tu confidato, che tu ti sei ribellato contro a me?

Dices, (por cierto palabras de labios): Consejo tengo y esfuerzo para la guerra. Mas ¿en qué confías, que te has rebelado contra mí?

Thou sayest, (but they are but vain words,) I have counsel and strength for the war. Now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?

You say (but they are but vain words), ‘There is counsel and strength for war.’ Now on whom do you trust, that you have rebelled against me?

Ecco, ora tu ti sei confidato in quel sostegno di canna rotta, nell'Egitto, sopra il quale se alcuno si appoggia, esso gli entra nella mano, e la fora; tale è Faraone, re di Egitto, a tutti quelli che si confidano in lui.

He aquí tú confías ahora en este bordón de caña cascada, en Egipto, en el que si alguno se apoyare, entrarále por la mano, y se le pasará. Tal es Faraón rey de Egipto, para todos los que en él confían.

Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.

E se voi mi dite: Noi ci confidiamo nel Signore Iddio nostro, non è egli quello, i cui alti luoghi ed altari Ezechia ha tolti via; e ha detto a Giuda ed a Gerusalemme: Voi adorerete solo dinanzi a questo Altare in Gerusalemme?

Y si me decís: Nosotros confiamos en Jehová nuestro Dios: ¿no es aquél cuyos altos y altares ha quitado Ezechîas, y ha dicho á Judá y á Jerusalem: Delante de este altar adoraréis en Jerusalem?

But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?

But if you tell me, ‘We trust in the LORD our God,’ isn’t that he whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem’?

Deh! scommetti ora col mio signore, re degli Assiri; e io ti darò duemila cavalli, se tu puoi dare altrettanti uomini che li cavalchino.

Por tanto, ahora yo te ruego que des rehenes á mi señor, el rey de Asiria, y yo te daré dos mil caballos, si tú pudieres dar jinetes para ellos.

Now therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria, and I will deliver thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.

E come faresti tu voltar faccia all'uno de' capitani d'infra i minimi servitori del mio signore? ma tu ti sei confidato nell'Egitto per de' carri, e della gente a cavallo.

¿Cómo pues harás volver el rostro de un capitán el menor de los siervos de mi señor, aunque estés confiado en Egipto por sus carros y su gente de á caballo?

How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

Ora, sono io forse salito contro questo luogo, per guastarlo, senza il Signore? Il Signore mi ha detto: Sali contro a quel paese, e guastalo.

Además, ¿he venido yo ahora sin Jehová á este lugar, para destruirlo? Jehová me ha dicho: Sube á esta tierra, y destrúyela.

Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Allora Eliachim, figliuolo di Hilchia, e Sebna, e Ioa, dissero a Rabsache: Deh! parla a' tuoi servitori in lingua siriaca, perciocchè noi l'intendiamo; e non parlar con noi in lingua giudaica, udente il popolo ch'è sopra le mura.

Entonces dijo Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, y Sebna y Joah, á Rabsaces: Ruégote que hables á tus siervos siriaco, porque nosotros lo entendemos, y no hables con nosotros judaico á oídos del pueblo que está sobre el muro.

Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rab-shakeh, Speak, I pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and talk not with us in the Jews’ language in the ears of the people that are on the wall.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, Shebnah, and Joah, said to Rabshakeh, “Please speak to your servants in the Syrian language, for we understand it. Don’t speak with us in the Jews’ language, in the hearing of the people who are on the wall.”

Ma Rab-sache rispose loro: Il mio signore mi ha egli mandato a dir queste parole al tuo signore, o a te? non mi ha egli mandato a quelli che stanno su le mura, per protestar loro che farà loro mangiare il loro sterco, e bere la loro urina insieme con voi?

Y Rabsaces les dijo: ¿Hame enviado mi señor á ti y á tu señor para decir estas palabras, y no antes á los hombres que están sobre el muro, para comer su estiércol, y beber el agua de sus pies con vosotros?

But Rab-shakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

But Rabshakeh said to them, “Has my master sent me to your master and to you, to speak these words? Hasn’t he sent me to the men who sit on the wall, to eat their own dung, and to drink their own urine with you?”

Poi Rab-sache si rizzò in piè e gridò ad alta voce in lingua giudaica, e parlò, e disse: Ascoltate la parola del gran re, re degli Assiri:

Paróse luego Rabsaces, y clamó á gran voz en judaico, y habló, diciendo: Oid la palabra del gran rey, el rey de Asiria.

Then Rab-shakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria:

Così ha detto il re: Ezechia non v'inganni; perciocchè egli non potrà liberarvi dalla mia mano.

Así ha dicho el rey: No os engañe Ezechîas, porque no os podrá librar de mi mano.

Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand:

The king says, ‘Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you, for he will not be able to deliver you out of his hand.

E non vi faccia Ezechia confidar nel Signore, dicendo: Il Signore per certo ci libererà, e questa città non sarà data nelle mani del re degli Assiri.

Y no os haga Ezechîas confiar en Jehová, diciendo: De cierto nos librará Jehová, y esta ciudad no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Don’t let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, “The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Non ascoltate Ezechia; perciocchè il re degli Assiri ha detto così: Fate pace meco, ed uscite a me; e ciascun di voi mangi della sua vite, e del suo fico, e beva dell'acqua della sua cisterna;

No oigáis á Ezechîas, porque así dice el rey de Asiria: Haced conmigo paz, y salid á mí, y cada uno comerá de su vid, y de su higuera, y cada uno beberá las aguas de su pozo;

Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern:

Don’t listen to Hezekiah.’ For the king of Assyria says, ‘Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and everyone of you eat from his own vine, and everyone from his own fig tree, and everyone drink water from his own cistern;

finchè io venga, e vi meni in un paese simile al vostro; paese di frumento e di mosto; paese di pane e di vigne; paese d'ulivi da olio, e di miele; e voi viverete, e non morrete: e non ascoltate Ezechia; perciocchè egli v'inganna, dicendo: Il Signore ci libererà.

Hasta que yo venga, y os lleve á una tierra como la vuestra, tierra de grano y de vino, tierra de pan y de viñas, tierra de olivas, de aceite, y de miel; y viviréis, y no moriréis. No oigáis á Ezechîas, porque os engaña cuando dice: Jehová nos librará.

Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.

until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and of honey, that you may live and not die. Don’t listen to Hezekiah when he persuades you, saying, “The LORD will deliver us.”

Ha pure alcuno degl'iddii delle genti liberato il suo paese dalle mani del re degli Assiri?

¿Acaso alguno de los dioses de las gentes ha librado su tierra de la mano del rey de Asiria?

Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Has any of the gods of the nations ever delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Dove sono gl'iddii di Hamat e di Arpad? dove gl'iddii di Sefarvaim, di Hena, e d'Ivva? hanno pure essi liberata Samaria dalla mia mano?

¿Dónde está el dios de Hamath, y de Arphad? ¿dónde el dios de Sepharvaim, de Hena, y de Hiva? ¿pudieron éstos librar á Samaria de mi mano?

Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?

Where are the gods of Hamath and of Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah? Have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?

Quali son quegli dii, d'infra tutti gl'iddii di que' paesi, che abbiano liberato il lor paese dalla mia mano; che il Signore abbia da liberar Gerusalemme dalla mia mano?

¿Qué dios de todos los dioses de las provincias ha librado á su provincia de mi mano, para que libre Jehová de mi mano á Jerusalem?

Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of mine hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of mine hand?

Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?’”

E il popolo tacque, e non gli rispose nulla; perciocchè tale era il comandamento del re: Non gli rispondete nulla.

Y el pueblo calló, que no le respondieron palabra: porque había mandamiento del rey, el cual había dicho: No le respondáis.

But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

But the people stayed quiet, and answered him not a word; for the king’s commandment was, “Don’t answer him.”

Ed Eliachim, figliuolo di Hilchia, mastro del palazzo, e Sebna, segretario, e Ioa, figliuolo di Asaf, cancelliere, vennero al re Ezechia co' vestimenti stracciati, e gli rapportarono le parole di Rab-sache.

Entonces Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, que era mayordomo, y Sebna el escriba, y Joah hijo de Asaph, canciller, vinieron á Ezechîas, rotos sus vestidos, y recitáronle las palabras de Rabsaces.

Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rab-shakeh.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, came with Shebna the scribe and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and told him Rabshakeh’s words.
