Und es geschah im dritten Jahre Hoseas, des Sohnes Elas, des Königs von Israel, da wurde Hiskia König, der Sohn Ahas', des Königs von Juda.

EN el tercer año de Oseas hijo de Ela rey de Israel, comenzó á reinar Ezechîas hijo de Achâz rey de Judá.

Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign.

Fünfundzwanzig Jahre war er alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte neunundzwanzig Jahre zu Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Abi, die Tochter Sekarjas.

Cuando comenzó á reinar era de veinticinco años, y reinó en Jerusalem veintinueve años. El nombre de su madre fué Abi hija de Zachârías.

Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Abi, the daughter of Zachariah.

Und er tat, was recht war in den Augen Jehovas, nach allem, was sein Vater David getan hatte.

Hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, conforme á todas las cosas que había hecho David su padre.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father did.

Er tat die Höhen hinweg und zerschlug die Bildsäulen, und rottete die Aschera aus, und zertrümmerte die eherne Schlange, welche Mose gemacht hatte; denn bis zu jenen Tagen hatten die Kinder Israel ihr geräuchert, und man nannte sie Nechustan.

El quitó los altos, y quebró las imágenes, y taló los bosques, é hizo pedazos la serpiente de bronce que había hecho Moisés, porque hasta entonces le quemaban perfumes los hijos de Israel; y llamóle por nombre Nehustán.

He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

Er vertraute auf Jehova, den Gott Israels; und nach ihm ist seinesgleichen nicht gewesen unter allen Königen von Juda, noch unter denen, die vor ihm waren.

Und er hing Jehova an, er wich nicht von ihm ab; und er beobachtete seine Gebote, die Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte.

Und Jehova war mit ihm; überall, wohin er zog, gelang es ihm. Und er empörte sich gegen den König von Assyrien und diente ihm nicht.

Er schlug die Philister bis Gasa und verheerte dessen Gebiet, vom Turme der Wächter an bis zu der festen Stadt.

Hirió también á los Filisteos hasta Gaza y sus términos, desde las torres de las atalayas hasta la ciudad fortalecida.

He smote the Philistines, even unto Gaza, and the borders thereof, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.

Und es geschah im vierten Jahre des Königs Hiskia, das war das siebte Jahr Hoseas, des Sohnes Elas, des Königs von Israel, da zog Salmaneser, der König von Assyrien, wider Samaria herauf und belagerte es.

En el cuarto año del rey Ezechîas, que era el año séptimo de Oseas hijo de Ela rey de Israel, subió Salmanasar rey de los Asirios contra Samaria, y cercóla.

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.

Und er nahm es ein am Ende von drei Jahren; im sechsten Jahre Hiskias, das war das neunte Jahr Hoseas, des Königs von Israel, wurde Samaria eingenommen.

Und der König von Assyrien führte Israel nach Assyrien hinweg; und er versetzte sie nach Halach und an den Habor, den Strom Gosans, und in die Städte Mediens:

And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:

darum daß sie auf die Stimme Jehovas, ihres Gottes, nicht gehört, und seinen Bund übertreten hatten alles, was Mose, der Knecht Jehovas, geboten hat und weil sie nicht gehört und es nicht getan hatten.

Por cuanto no habían atendido la voz de Jehová su Dios, antes habían quebrantado su pacto; y todas las cosas que Moisés siervo de Jehová había mandado, ni las habían escuchado, ni puesto por obra.

Und im vierzehnten Jahre des Königs Hiskia zog Sanherib, der König von Assyrien, herauf wider alle festen Städte Judas und nahm sie ein.

Y á los catorce años del rey Ezechîas, subió Sennachêrib rey de Asiria contra todas las ciudades fuertes de Judá, y tomólas.

Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them.

Da sandte Hiskia, der König von Juda, an den König von Assyrien nach Lachis und ließ ihm sagen: Ich habe gefehlt, kehre um von mir; was du mir auferlegen wirst, will ich tragen. Und der König von Assyrien legte Hiskia, dem König von Juda, dreihundert Talente Silber und dreißig Talente Gold auf.

Entonces Ezechîas rey de Judá envió á decir al rey de Asiria en Lachîs: Yo he pecado: vuélvete de mí, y llevaré todo lo que me impusieres. Y el rey de Asiria impuso á Ezechîas rey de Judá trescientos talentos de plata, y treinta talentos de oro.

And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.

Und Hiskia gab alles Silber, das sich in dem Hause Jehovas und in den Schätzen des Königshauses vorfand.

Dió por tanto Ezechîas toda la plata que fué hallada en la casa de Jehová, y en los tesoros de la casa real.

Zu selbiger Zeit brach Hiskia von den Türflügeln des Tempels Jehovas und den Pfosten, die Hiskia, der König von Juda, überzogen hatte, das Gold ab und gab es dem König von Assyrien.

Aber der König von Assyrien sandte von Lachis aus den Tartan und den Rabsaris und den Rabsake mit einem großen Heere wider den König Hiskia nach Jerusalem. Después el rey de Asiria envió al rey Ezechîas, desde Lachîs contra Jerusalem, á Thartán y á Rabsaris y á Rabsaces, con un grande ejército: y subieron, y vinieron á Jerusalem. Y habiendo subido, vinieron y pararon junto al conducto del estanque de arriba, que es en el camino de la heredad del batanero.

And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rab-shakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller’s field.

Und sie riefen dem König. Da gingen zu ihnen hinaus Eljakim, der Sohn Hilkijas, der über das Haus war, und Schebna, der Schreiber, und Joach, der Sohn Asaphs, der Geschichtsschreiber.

Llamaron luego al rey, y salió á ellos Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, que era mayordomo, y Sebna escriba, y Joah hijo de Asaph, canciller.

And when they had called to the king, there came out to them Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder.

Und der Rabsake sprach zu ihnen: Saget doch zu Hiskia: So spricht der große König, der König von Assyrien: Was ist das für ein Vertrauen, womit du vertraust?

Y díjoles Rabsaces: Decid ahora á Ezechîas: Así dice el gran rey de Asiria: ¿Qué confianza es esta en que tú estás?

And Rab-shakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?

Rabshakeh said to them, “Say now to Hezekiah, ‘The great king, the king of Assyria, says, “What confidence is this in which you trust?

Du sagst doch nur ein Wort der Lippen ist es: Da ist Rat und Macht zum Kriege. Nun, auf wen vertraust du, daß du dich wider mich empört hast?

Dices, (por cierto palabras de labios): Consejo tengo y esfuerzo para la guerra. Mas ¿en qué confías, que te has rebelado contra mí?

Thou sayest, (but they are but vain words,) I have counsel and strength for the war. Now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?

You say (but they are but vain words), ‘There is counsel and strength for war.’ Now on whom do you trust, that you have rebelled against me?

Nun, siehe, du vertraust auf jenen geknickten Rohrstab, auf Ägypten, der, wenn jemand sich auf ihn stützt, ihm in die Hand fährt und sie durchbohrt. So ist der Pharao, der König von Ägypten, allen, die auf ihn vertrauen.

He aquí tú confías ahora en este bordón de caña cascada, en Egipto, en el que si alguno se apoyare, entrarále por la mano, y se le pasará. Tal es Faraón rey de Egipto, para todos los que en él confían.

Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.

Und wenn ihr zu mir sprechet: Auf Jehova, unseren Gott, vertrauen wir! ist er es nicht, dessen Höhen und dessen Altäre Hiskia hinweggetan, da er zu Juda und zu Jerusalem gesagt hat: Vor diesem Altar sollt ihr anbeten in Jerusalem? -

Y si me decís: Nosotros confiamos en Jehová nuestro Dios: ¿no es aquél cuyos altos y altares ha quitado Ezechîas, y ha dicho á Judá y á Jerusalem: Delante de este altar adoraréis en Jerusalem?

But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?

But if you tell me, ‘We trust in the LORD our God,’ isn’t that he whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem’?

Und nun, laß dich doch ein mit meinem Herrn, dem König von Assyrien: Ich will dir zweitausend Rosse geben, wenn du dir Reiter darauf setzen kannst.

Por tanto, ahora yo te ruego que des rehenes á mi señor, el rey de Asiria, y yo te daré dos mil caballos, si tú pudieres dar jinetes para ellos.

Now therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria, and I will deliver thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.

Und wie wolltest du einen einzigen Befehlshaber von den geringsten Knechten meines Herrn zurücktreiben? Aber du vertraust auf Ägypten der Wagen und Reiter wegen.

¿Cómo pues harás volver el rostro de un capitán el menor de los siervos de mi señor, aunque estés confiado en Egipto por sus carros y su gente de á caballo?

How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

Nun, bin ich etwa ohne Jehova wider diesen Ort heraufgezogen, um ihn zu verheeren? Jehova hat zu mir gesagt: Ziehe hinauf wider dieses Land und verheere es!

Und Eljakim, der Sohn Hilkijas, und Schebna und Joach sprachen zu dem Rabsake: Rede doch zu deinen Knechten auf aramäisch, denn wir verstehen es; und rede nicht auf jüdisch mit uns vor den Ohren des Volkes, das auf der Mauer ist.

Entonces dijo Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, y Sebna y Joah, á Rabsaces: Ruégote que hables á tus siervos siriaco, porque nosotros lo entendemos, y no hables con nosotros judaico á oídos del pueblo que está sobre el muro.

Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rab-shakeh, Speak, I pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and talk not with us in the Jews’ language in the ears of the people that are on the wall.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, Shebnah, and Joah, said to Rabshakeh, “Please speak to your servants in the Syrian language, for we understand it. Don’t speak with us in the Jews’ language, in the hearing of the people who are on the wall.”

Und der Rabsake sprach zu ihnen: Hat mein Herr mich zu deinem Herrn und zu dir gesandt, um diese Worte zu reden? Nicht zu den Männern, die auf der Mauer sitzen, um mit euch ihren Kot zu essen und ihren Harn zu trinken?

Y Rabsaces les dijo: ¿Hame enviado mi señor á ti y á tu señor para decir estas palabras, y no antes á los hombres que están sobre el muro, para comer su estiércol, y beber el agua de sus pies con vosotros?

But Rab-shakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

But Rabshakeh said to them, “Has my master sent me to your master and to you, to speak these words? Hasn’t he sent me to the men who sit on the wall, to eat their own dung, and to drink their own urine with you?”

Und der Rabsake stand und rief mit lauter Stimme auf jüdisch und redete und sprach: Höret das Wort des großen Königs, des Königs von Assyrien!

Paróse luego Rabsaces, y clamó á gran voz en judaico, y habló, diciendo: Oid la palabra del gran rey, el rey de Asiria.

Then Rab-shakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria:

So spricht der König: Daß Hiskia euch nicht täusche; denn er wird euch nicht von seiner Hand zu erretten vermögen.

Así ha dicho el rey: No os engañe Ezechîas, porque no os podrá librar de mi mano.

Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand:

The king says, ‘Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you, for he will not be able to deliver you out of his hand.

Und das Hiskia euch nicht auf Jehova vertröste, indem er spricht: Jehova wird uns gewißlich erretten, und diese Stadt wird nicht in die Hand des Königs von Assyrien gegeben werden.

Y no os haga Ezechîas confiar en Jehová, diciendo: De cierto nos librará Jehová, y esta ciudad no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Don’t let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, “The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Höret nicht auf Hiskia! Denn also spricht der König von Assyrien: Machet Frieden mit mir und kommet zu mir heraus, so sollt ihr ein jeder von seinem Weinstock und ein jeder von seinem Feigenbaum essen, und ein jeder das Wasser seines Brunnens trinken,

No oigáis á Ezechîas, porque así dice el rey de Asiria: Haced conmigo paz, y salid á mí, y cada uno comerá de su vid, y de su higuera, y cada uno beberá las aguas de su pozo;

Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern:

Don’t listen to Hezekiah.’ For the king of Assyria says, ‘Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and everyone of you eat from his own vine, and everyone from his own fig tree, and everyone drink water from his own cistern;

bis ich komme und euch in ein Land hole wie euer Land, ein Land von Korn und Most, ein Land von Brot und Weinbergen, ein Land von Olivenbäumen und Honig, daß ihr lebet und nicht sterbet. Aber höret nicht auf Hiskia! Denn er verführt euch, indem er spricht: Jehova wird uns erretten!

Hasta que yo venga, y os lleve á una tierra como la vuestra, tierra de grano y de vino, tierra de pan y de viñas, tierra de olivas, de aceite, y de miel; y viviréis, y no moriréis. No oigáis á Ezechîas, porque os engaña cuando dice: Jehová nos librará.

Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.

until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and of honey, that you may live and not die. Don’t listen to Hezekiah when he persuades you, saying, “The LORD will deliver us.”

Haben denn irgend die Götter der Nationen ein jeder sein Land von der Hand des Königs von Assyrien errettet?

¿Acaso alguno de los dioses de las gentes ha librado su tierra de la mano del rey de Asiria?

Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Has any of the gods of the nations ever delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Wo sind die Götter von Hamath und Arpad? Wo die Götter von Sepharwaim, von Hena und Iwa? Haben sie Samaria von meiner Hand errettet?

¿Dónde está el dios de Hamath, y de Arphad? ¿dónde el dios de Sepharvaim, de Hena, y de Hiva? ¿pudieron éstos librar á Samaria de mi mano?

Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?

Welche sind es unter allen Göttern der Länder, die ihr Land von meiner Hand errettet haben, daß Jehova Jerusalem von meiner Hand erretten sollte?

¿Qué dios de todos los dioses de las provincias ha librado á su provincia de mi mano, para que libre Jehová de mi mano á Jerusalem?

Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of mine hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of mine hand?

Und das Volk schwieg still und antwortete ihm kein Wort; denn es war das Gebot des Königs, der gesagt hatte: Ihr sollt nicht antworten! -

Y el pueblo calló, que no le respondieron palabra: porque había mandamiento del rey, el cual había dicho: No le respondáis.

But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

But the people stayed quiet, and answered him not a word; for the king’s commandment was, “Don’t answer him.”

Und Eljakim, der Sohn Hilkijas, der über das Haus war, und Schebna, der Schreiber, und Joach, der Sohn Asaphs, der Geschichtsschreiber, kamen zu Hiskia mit zerrissenen Kleidern und berichteten ihm die Worte des Rabsake.

Entonces Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, que era mayordomo, y Sebna el escriba, y Joah hijo de Asaph, canciller, vinieron á Ezechîas, rotos sus vestidos, y recitáronle las palabras de Rabsaces.

Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rab-shakeh.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, came with Shebna the scribe and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and told him Rabshakeh’s words.
