Und es geschah, als der König Hiskia es hörte, da zerriß er seine Kleider und hüllte sich in Sacktuch und ging in das Haus Jehovas.

Y COMO el rey Ezechîas lo oyó, rasgó sus vestidos, y cubrióse de saco, y entróse en la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

Und er sandte Eljakim, der über das Haus war, und Schebna, den Schreiber, und die Ältesten der Priester, in Sacktuch gehüllt, zu dem Propheten Jesaja, dem Sohne Amoz'.

And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

Und sie sprachen zu ihm: So spricht Hiskia: Dieser Tag ist ein Tag der Bedrängnis und der Züchtigung und der Schmähung; denn die Kinder sind bis an die Geburt gekommen, aber da ist keine Kraft zum Gebären.

Que le dijesen: Así ha dicho Ezechîas: Este día es día de angustia, y de reprensión, y de blasfemia; porque los hijos han venido hasta la rotura, y la que pare no tiene fuerzas.

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

They said to him, “Hezekiah says, ‘Today is a day of trouble, of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to deliver them.

Vielleicht wird Jehova, dein Gott, alle Worte des Rabsake hören, welchen sein Herr, der König von Assyrien, gesandt hat, um den lebendigen Gott zu höhnen, und wird die Worte bestrafen, die Jehova, dein Gott, gehört hat. Erhebe denn ein Gebet für den Überrest, der sich noch vorfindet!

Quizá oirá Jehová tu Dios todas las palabras de Rabsaces, al cual el rey de los Asirios su señor ha enviado para injuriar al Dios vivo, y á vituperar con palabras, las cuales Jehová tu Dios ha oído: por tanto, eleva oración por las reliquias que aun se hallan.

It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rab-shakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left.

It may be the LORD your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

Und die Knechte des Königs Hiskia kamen zu Jesaja.

Vinieron pues los siervos del rey Ezechîas á Isaías.

Und Jesaja sprach zu ihnen: Also sollt ihr zu eurem Herrn sagen: So spricht Jehova: Fürchte dich nicht vor den Worten, die du gehört hast, womit die Diener des Königs von Assyrien mich gelästert haben.

E Isaías les respondió: Así diréis á vuestro señor: Así ha dicho Jehová; No temas por las palabras que has oído, con las cuales me han blasfemado los siervos del rey de Asiria.

And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Isaiah said to them, “Tell your master this: ‘The LORD says, “Don’t be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Siehe, ich will ihm einen Geist eingeben, daß er ein Gerücht hören und in sein Land zurückkehren wird; und ich will ihn durchs Schwert fällen in seinem Lande.

He aquí pondré yo en él un espíritu, y oirá rumor, y volveráse á su tierra: y yo haré que en su tierra caiga á cuchillo.

Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

Behold, I will put a spirit in him, and he will hear news, and will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”

Und der Rabsake kehrte zurück und fand den König von Assyrien streitend wider Libna; denn er hatte gehört, daß er von Lachis aufgebrochen wäre.

Und er hörte von Tirhaka, dem König von Äthiopien, sagen: Siehe, er ist ausgezogen, um wider dich zu streiten. Da sandte er wiederum Boten zu Hiskia und sprach:

And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying,

So sollt ihr zu Hiskia, dem König von Juda, sprechen und sagen: Daß dich nicht täusche dein Gott, auf den du vertraust, indem du sprichst: Jerusalem wird nicht in die Hand des Königs von Assyrien gegeben werden!

Así diréis á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, para decir: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“Tell Hezekiah king of Judah this: ‘Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Siehe, du hast gehört, was die Könige von Assyrien allen Ländern getan haben, indem sie sie vertilgten; und du solltest errettet werden?

He aquí tú has oído lo que han hecho los reyes de Asiria á todas las tierras, destruyéndolas; ¿y has tú de escapar?

Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered?

Haben die Götter der Nationen, welche meine Väter vernichtet haben, sie errettet: Gosan und Haran und Rezeph, und die Kinder Edens, die in Telassar waren?

¿Libráronlas los dioses de las gentes, que mis padres destruyeron, es á saber, Gozán, y Harán, y Reseph, y los hijos de Edén que estaban en Thalasar?

Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed; as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar?

Wo ist der König von Hamath und der König von Arpad und der König der Stadt Sepharwaim, von Hena und Iwa?

Und Hiskia nahm den Brief aus der Hand der Boten und las ihn; und er ging in das Haus Jehovas hinauf, und Hiskia breitete ihn vor Jehova aus.

And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

Und Hiskia betete vor Jehova und sprach: Jehova, Gott Israels, der du zwischen den Cherubim thronst, du allein bist es, der der Gott ist von allen Königreichen der Erde; du hast den Himmel und die Erde gemacht.

Y oró Ezechîas delante de Jehová, diciendo: Jehová Dios de Israel, que habitas entre los querubines, tú solo eres Dios de todos los reinos de la tierra; tú hiciste el cielo y la tierra.

And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

Jehova, neige dein Ohr und höre! Jehova, tue deine Augen auf und sieh! Ja, höre die Worte Sanheribs, die er gesandt hat, um den lebendigen Gott zu höhnen.

Inclina, oh Jehová, tu oído, y oye; abre, oh Jehová, tus ojos, y mira: y oye las palabras de Sennachêrib, que ha enviado á blasfemar al Dios viviente.

LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.

Incline your ear, LORD, and hear. Open your eyes, LORD, and see. Hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to defy the living God.

Wahrlich, Jehova, die Könige von Assyrien haben die Nationen und ihr Land verwüstet,

Es verdad, oh Jehová, que los reyes de Asiria han destruído las gentes y sus tierras;

Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands,

Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands,

und sie haben ihre Götter ins Feuer geworfen; denn sie waren nicht Götter, sondern ein Werk von Menschenhänden, Holz und Stein, und sie haben sie zerstört.

Y que pusieron en el fuego á sus dioses, por cuanto ellos no eran dioses, sino obra de manos de hombres, madera ó piedra, y así los destruyeron.

And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

Da sandte Jesaja, der Sohn Amoz', zu Hiskia und ließ ihm sagen: So spricht Jehova, der Gott Israels: Was du wegen Sanheribs, des Königs von Assyrien, zu mir gebetet hast, habe ich gehört.

Entonces Isaías hijo de Amós envió á decir á Ezechîas: Así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de Israel: Lo que me rogaste acerca de Sennachêrib rey de Asiria, he oído.

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “The LORD, the God of Israel, says ‘You have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, and I have heard you.

Dies ist das Wort, welches Jehova über ihn geredet hat: Es verachtet dich, es spottet deiner die Jungfrau, die Tochter Zion; die Tochter Jerusalem schüttelt das Haupt dir nach.

Esta es la palabra que Jehová ha hablado contra él: Hate menospreciado, hate escarnecido la virgen hija de Sión; ha movido su cabeza detrás de ti la hija de Jerusalem.

This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

This is the word that the LORD has spoken concerning him: ‘The virgin daughter of Zion has despised you and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.

Wen hast du gehöhnt und gelästert, und gegen wen die Stimme erhoben? Gegen den Heiligen Israels hast du deine Augen emporgerichtet!

¿A quién has injuriado y á quién has blasfemado? ¿y contra quién has hablado alto, y has alzado en alto tus ojos? Contra el Santo de Israel.

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel!

Durch deine Boten hast du den Herrn gehöhnt und hast gesprochen: Mit meiner Wagen Menge habe ich erstiegen die Höhe der Berge, das äußerste Ende des Libanon; und ich will umhauen den Hochwuchs seiner Zedern, die Auswahl seiner Zypressen, und ich will kommen in seine äußerste Wohnung, in seinen Gartenwald.

Por mano de tus mensajeros has proferido injuria contra el Señor, y has dicho: Con la multitud de mis carros he subido á las cumbres de los montes, á las cuestas del Líbano; y cortaré sus altos cedros, sus hayas escogidas; y entraré á la morada de su término, al monte de su Carmel.

By thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.

By your messengers, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots, I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon, and I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees; and I will enter into his farthest lodging place, the forest of his fruitful field.

Ich habe gegraben und fremde Wasser getrunken; und mit der Sohle meiner Füße werde ich austrocknen alle Ströme Mazors.

Yo he cavado y bebido las aguas ajenas, y he secado con las plantas de mis pies todos los ríos de lugares bloqueados.

I have digged and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.

I have dug and drunk strange waters, and I will dry up all the rivers of Egypt with the sole of my feet.”

Hast du nicht gehört, daß ich von ferne her es gewirkt und von den Tagen der Vorzeit her es gebildet habe? Nun habe ich es kommen lassen, daß du feste Städte verwüstest zu öden Steinhaufen.

¿Nunca has oído que mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, y de días antiguos lo he formado? Y ahora lo he hecho venir, y fué para desolación de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.

Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.

Haven’t you heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it of ancient times? Now I have brought it to pass, that it should be yours to lay waste fortified cities into ruinous heaps.

Und ihre Bewohner waren machtlos, sie wurden bestürzt und beschämt; sie waren wie Kraut des Feldes und grünes Gras, wie Gras der Dächer, und Korn, das verbrannt ist, ehe es aufschießt.

Y sus moradores, cortos de manos, quebrantados y confusos, fueron cual hierba del campo, como legumbre verde, y heno de los tejados, que antes que venga á madurez es seco.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

Und ich kenne dein Sitzen, und dein Aus-und dein Eingehen, und dein Toben wider mich.

Yo he sabido tu asentarte, tu salir y tu entrar, y tu furor contra mí.

But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.

But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me.

Wegen deines Tobens wider mich, und weil dein Übermut in meine Ohren heraufgekommen ist, werde ich meinen Ring in deine Nase legen und mein Gebiß in deine Lippen und werde dich zurückführen auf dem Wege, auf welchem du gekommen bist! -

Por cuanto te has airado contra mí, y tu estruendo ha subido á mis oídos, yo por tanto pondré mi anzuelo en tus narices, y mi bocado en tus labios, y te haré volver por el camino por donde viniste.

Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Because of your raging against me, and because your arrogance has come up into my ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose, and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.’

Und dies soll dir das Zeichen sein: Man wird in diesem Jahre den Nachwuchs der Ernte essen, und im zweiten Jahre, was ausgesproßt ist; im dritten Jahre aber säet und erntet, und pflanzet Weinberge und esset ihre Frucht.

Y esto te será por señal Ezechîas: Este año comerás lo que nacerá de suyo, y el segundo año lo que nacerá de suyo; y el tercer año haréis sementera, y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis el fruto de ellas.

And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.

“This will be the sign to you: This year, you will eat that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from that; and in the third year sow and reap, and plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

Und das Entronnene vom Hause Juda, das übriggeblieben ist, wird wieder wurzeln nach unten und Frucht tragen nach oben.

Y lo que hubiere escapado, lo que habrá quedado de la casa de Judá, tornará á echar raíz abajo, y hará fruto arriba.

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

The remnant that has escaped of the house of Judah will again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

Denn von Jerusalem wird ein Überrest ausgehen, und ein Entronnenes vom Berge Zion. Der Eifer Jehovas wird solches tun!

Porque saldrán de Jerusalem reliquias, y los que escaparán, del monte de Sión: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.

For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and out of Mount Zion those who shall escape. The LORD’s zeal will perform this.

Darum, so spricht Jehova von dem König von Assyrien: Er soll nicht in diese Stadt kommen, und er soll keinen Pfeil darein schießen und keinen Schild ihr zukehren und keinen Wall gegen sie aufschütten.

Por tanto, Jehová dice así del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella; ni vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.

“Therefore the LORD says concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there. He will not come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

Auf dem Wege, auf welchem er gekommen ist, soll er zurückkehren, und soll in diese Stadt nicht kommen, spricht Jehova.

Por el camino que vino se volverá, y no entrará en esta ciudad, dice Jehová.

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.

He will return the same way that he came, and he will not come to this city,’ says the LORD.

Und ich will diese Stadt beschirmen, um sie zu retten, um meinet-und um Davids, meines Knechtes, willen.

Porque yo ampararé á esta ciudad para salvarla, por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.

For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

‘For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for my servant David’s sake.’”

Und es geschah in selbiger Nacht, da ging ein Engel Jehovas aus und schlug in dem Lager der Assyrer hundertfünfundachtzigtausend Mann. Und als man des Morgens früh aufstand, siehe, da waren sie allesamt Leichname.

Y aconteció que la misma noche salió el ángel de Jehová, é hirió en el campo de los Asirios ciento ochenta y cinco mil; y como se levantaron por la mañana, he aquí los cuerpos de los muertos.

And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

That night, the LORD’s angel went out and struck one hundred eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

Und Sanherib, der König von Assyrien, brach auf, und er zog fort und kehrte zurück und blieb in Ninive.

Entonces Sennachêrib, rey de Asiria se partió, y se fué y tornó á Nínive, donde se estuvo.

So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

Und es geschah, als er sich im Hause Nisroks, seines Gottes, niederbeugte, da erschlugen ihn Adrammelek und Scharezer, seine Söhne, mit dem Schwerte; und sie entrannen in das Land Ararat. Und Esar-Haddon, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.

Y aconteció que, estando él adorando en el templo de Nisroch su dios, Adramelech y Saresar sus hijos lo hirieron á cuchillo; y huyéronse á tierra de Ararat. Y reinó en su lugar Esar-hadón su hijo.

And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.

As he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.
