sprach Jesaja zu ihnen: So saget eurem HERRN: So spricht der HERR: Fürchte dich nicht vor den Worten, die du gehöret hast, damit mich die Knaben des Königs von Assyrien gelästert haben.

It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rab-shakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left.

He aquí pondré yo en él un espíritu, y oirá rumor, y volveráse á su tierra: y yo haré que en su tierra caiga á cuchillo.

So saget Hiskia, dem Könige Judas: Laß dich deinen Gott nicht aufsetzen, auf den du dich verlässest, und sprichst: Jerusalem wird nicht in die Hände des Königs von Assyrien gegeben werden.

Así diréis á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, para decir: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Und da Hiskia die Briefe von den Boten empfangen und gelesen hatte, ging er hinauf zum Hause des HERRN und breitete sie aus vor dem HERRN.

Du hast den HERRN durch deine Boten gehöhnet und gesagt: Ich bin durch die Menge meiner Wagen auf die Höhe der Berge gestiegen, auf den Seiten des Libanon; ich habe seine hohen Zedern und auserlesenen Tannen abgehauen und bin kommen an die äußerste Herberge des Waldes seines Karmels;
Esta es la palabra que Jehová ha hablado contra él: Hate menospreciado, hate escarnecido la virgen hija de Sión; ha movido su cabeza detrás de ti la hija de Jerusalem.

Por mano de tus mensajeros has proferido injuria contra el Señor, y has dicho: Con la multitud de mis carros he subido á las cumbres de los montes, á las cuestas del Líbano; y cortaré sus altos cedros, sus hayas escogidas; y entraré á la morada de su término, al monte de su Carmel.
By thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.
By your messengers, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots, I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon, and I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees; and I will enter into his farthest lodging place, the forest of his fruitful field.
und die drinnen wohnen, matt werden und sich fürchten und schämen müßten und werden wie das Gras auf dem Felde und wie das grüne Kraut zum Heu auf den Dächern, das verdorret, ehe denn es reif wird.

Ich weiß dein Wohnen, dein Aus- und Einziehen, und daß du tobest wider mich.
¿Nunca has oído que mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, y de días antiguos lo he formado? Y ahora lo he hecho venir, y fué para desolación de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.
Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.

Weil du denn wider mich tobest, und dein Übermut vor meine Ohren heraufkommen ist, so will ich dir einen Ring an deine Nase legen und ein Gebiß in dein Maul und will dich den Weg wiederum führen, da du herkommen bist.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

Und sei dir ein Zeichen: In diesem Jahr iß, was zertreten ist; im andern Jahr, was selber wächst; im dritten Jahr säet und erntet und pflanzet Weinberge und esset ihre Früchte.

Denn von Jerusalem werden ausgehen, die überblieben sind, und die Erretteten vom Berge Zion. Der Eifer des HERRN Zebaoth wird solches tun.
Y esto te será por señal Ezechîas: Este año comerás lo que nacerá de suyo, y el segundo año lo que nacerá de suyo; y el tercer año haréis sementera, y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis el fruto de ellas.
And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.
“This will be the sign to you: This year, you will eat that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from that; and in the third year sow and reap, and plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
Darum spricht der HERR vom Könige zu Assyrien also: Er soll nicht in diese Stadt kommen und keinen Pfeil drein schießen und kein Schild davor kommen und soll keinen Wall drum schütten,

sondern er soll den Weg wiederum ziehen, den er kommen ist, und soll in diese Stadt nicht kommen; der HERR sagt es.
Porque saldrán de Jerusalem reliquias, y los que escaparán, del monte de Sión: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and out of Mount Zion those who shall escape. The LORD’s zeal will perform this.
Und ich will diese Stadt beschirmen, daß ich ihr helfe um meinetwillen und um Davids, meines Knechts, willen.
Por tanto, Jehová dice así del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella; ni vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.

Porque yo ampararé á esta ciudad para salvarla, por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.
For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

Und da er anbetete im Hause Nisrochs, seines Gottes, schlugen ihn mit dem Schwert Adramelech und Sarezer, seine Söhne; und sie entrannen ins Land Ararat. Und sein Sohn Assar-Haddon ward König an seiner Statt.
Y aconteció que la misma noche salió el ángel de Jehová, é hirió en el campo de los Asirios ciento ochenta y cinco mil; y como se levantaron por la mañana, he aquí los cuerpos de los muertos.
And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

Zu der Zeit ward Hiskia todkrank. Und der Prophet Jesaja, der Sohn Amoz, kam zu ihm und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Beschicke dein Haus; denn du wirst sterben und nicht leben bleiben.

Er aber wandte sein Antlitz zur Wand und betete zum HERRN und sprach:
Y aconteció que, estando él adorando en el templo de Nisroch su dios, Adramelech y Saresar sus hijos lo hirieron á cuchillo; y huyéronse á tierra de Ararat. Y reinó en su lugar Esar-hadón su hijo.
And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.
