16Este le dijo: “Yahvé dice: ‘Porque has enviado mensajeros a consultar a Baal Zebub, el dios de Ecrón, ¿es que no hay Dios en Israel para consultar su palabra? Por eso no bajarás del lecho al que has subido, sino que morirás sin duda’”.

16Y díjole: Así ha dicho Jehová: Pues que enviaste mensajeros á consultar á Baal-zebub dios de Ecrón, ¿no hay Dios en Israel para consultar en su palabra? No descenderás, por tanto, del lecho en que subiste, antes morirás de cierto.

16And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
World English Bible
16He said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”
