Naqueles dias, Ezequias ficou doente ao ponto de morrer. Assim, Isaías, filho de Amoz, o profeta, veio a ele e lhe disse: "Yahweh diz: 'Põe tua casa em ordem; porque tu morrerás e não viverás'".

EN aquellos días cayó Ezechîas enfermo de muerte, y vino á él Isaías profeta hijo de Amós, y díjole: Jehová dice así: Dispón de tu casa, porque has de morir, y no vivirás.

In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

In those days Hezekiah was sick and dying. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Set your house in order; for you will die, and not live.’”

Então, Ezequias virou sua face para a parede e orou a Yahweh, dizendo:

Entonces volvió él su rostro á la pared, y oró á Jehová, y dijo:

Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the LORD, saying,

"Por favor, Yahweh, lembra-Te de como eu andei fielmente diante de Ti, com todo o meu coração, e eu fiz o que era bom à Tua vista". E Ezequias chorou alto.

Ruégote, oh Jehová, ruégote hagas memoria de que he andado delante de ti en verdad é íntegro corazón, y que he hecho las cosas que te agradan. Y lloró Ezechîas con gran lloro.

I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

“Remember now, LORD, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Antes de Isaías ter saído do meio do pátio, a palavra de Yahweh veio a ele, dizendo:

Y antes que Isaías saliese hasta la mitad del patio, fué palabra de Jehová á Isaías, diciendo:

And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

Before Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, the LORD’s word came to him, saying,

"Volta e diz a Ezequias, o líder do meu povo: 'Isto é o que Yahweh, o Deus de Davi, teu antepassado, diz: Ouvi tua oração e vi tuas lágrimas. Estou prestes a curar-te no terceiro dia, e tu subirás ao templo de Yahweh.

Vuelve, y di á Ezechîas, príncipe de mi pueblo: Así dice Jehová, el Dios de David tu padre: Yo he oído tu oración, y he visto tus lágrimas: he aquí yo te sano; al tercer día subirás á la casa de Jehová.

Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

“Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘The LORD, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to the LORD’s house.

Acrescentarei quinze anos à tua vida, resgatarei a ti e a esta cidade da mão do rei da Assíria e defenderei esta cidade por Minha causa e por causa de Meu servo Davi'".

Y añadiré á tus días quince años, y te libraré á ti y á esta ciudad de mano del rey de Asiria; y ampararé esta ciudad por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.

And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.”’”

Assim, Isaías disse: "Tomai uma pasta de figos". Eles fizeram assim e puseram-na em sua úlcera, e ele se recuperou.

Y dijo Isaías: Tomad masa de higos. Y tomándola, pusieron sobre la llaga, y sanó.

And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Isaiah said, “Take a cake of figs.” They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Ezequias disse a Isaías: "Qual será o sinal de que Yahweh irá me curar e de que eu deva subir ao templo de Yahweh no terceiro dia?".

Y Ezechîas había dicho á Isaías: ¿Qué señal tendré de que Jehová me sanará, y que subiré á la casa de Jehová al tercer día?

And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?

Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I will go up to the LORD’s house the third day?”

Isaías replicou: "Este será o sinal de Yahweh para ti, que Yahweh fará aquilo que tem dito. Deve a sombra avançar dez passos ou retroceder dez passos?".

Y respondió Isaías: Esta señal tendrás de Jehová, de que hará Jehová esto que ha dicho: ¿Avanzará la sombra diez grados, ó retrocederá diez grados?

And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?

Isaiah said, “This will be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”

Ezequias respondeu: "É algo fácil para a sombra avançar dez passos. Não, que a sombra retroceda dez passos".

Y Ezechîas respondió: Fácil cosa es que la sombra decline diez grados: pero, que la sombra vuelva atrás diez grados.

And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

Hezekiah answered, “It is a light thing for the shadow to go forward ten steps. No, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.”

Assim, Isaías, o profeta, clamou a Yahweh, e Ele retrocedeu a sombra em dez passos, do ponto em que ela se havia movido na escadaria de Acaz.

Entonces el profeta Isaías clamó á Jehová; é hizo volver la sombra por los grados que había descendido en el reloj de Achâz, diez grados atrás.

And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.

Isaiah the prophet cried to the LORD; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.

Naquele tempo, Meradoque-Baladã, filho de Baladã rei da Babilônia, enviou cartas e um presente a Ezequias, porque havia ouvido que Ezequias estava doente.

En aquel tiempo Berodach-baladán hijo de Baladán, rey de Babilonia, envió letras y presentes á Ezechîas, porque había oído que Ezechîas había caído enfermo.

At that time Berodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

Ezequias ouviu aquelas cartas e, então, mostrou aos mensageiros todo o palácio e suas coisas valiosas: a prata, o ouro, as finas especiarias, o óleo precioso, o depósito de suas armas e tudo que foi achado em seus tesouros. Não houve nada em sua casa nem em todo o seu reino que Ezequias não mostrasse a eles.

Y Ezechîas los oyó, y mostróles toda la casa de las cosas preciosas, plata, oro, y especiería, y preciosos ungüentos; y la casa de sus armas, y todo lo que había en sus tesoros: ninguna cosa quedó que Ezechîas no les mostrase, así en su casa como en todo su señorío.

And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.

Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all the storehouse of his precious things—the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, or in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn’t show them.

Então, Isaías, o profeta, veio ao rei Ezequias e perguntou-lhe: "O que esses homens disseram a ti? De onde eles vieram?". Ezequias disse: "Eles vieram do país distante da Babilônia".

Entonces el profeta Isaías vino al rey Ezechîas, y díjole: ¿Qué dijeron aquellos varones, y de dónde vinieron á ti? Y Ezechîas le respondió: De lejanas tierras han venido, de Babilonia.

Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a far country, even from Babylon.”

Isaías perguntou: "O que eles viram em tua casa?". Ezequias respondeu: "Eles viram tudo em minha casa. Não há nada entre meus bens valiosos que eu não tenha mostrado a eles".

Y él le volvió á decir: ¿Qué vieron en tu casa? Y Ezechîas respondió: Vieron todo lo que había en mi casa; nada quedó en mis tesoros que no les mostrase.

And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

He said, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”

Assim, Isaías disse a Ezequias: "Ouve a palavra de Yahweh:

Entonces Isaías dijo á Ezechîas: Oye palabra de Jehová:

And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the LORD’s word.

'Olha, os dias estão prestes a chegar em que tudo em teu palácio, as coisas que teus antepassados armazenaram até o presente dia, será carregado para a Babilônia. Nada será deixado, diz Yahweh.

He aquí vienen días, en que todo lo que está en tu casa, y todo lo que tus padres han atesorado hasta hoy, será llevado á Babilonia, sin quedar nada, dijo Jehová.

Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

‘Behold, the days come that all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store to this day, will be carried to Babylon. Nothing will be left,’ says the LORD.

E os filhos nascidos de ti, aqueles que tu criaste, serão levados, e eles se tornarão eunucos no palácio do rei da Babilônia'".

Y de tus hijos que saldrán de ti, que habrás engendrado, tomarán; y serán eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia.

And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

‘They will take away some of your sons who will issue from you, whom you will father; and they will be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’”

Então, Ezequias disse a Isaías: "Boa é a palavra de Yahweh que tu falaste". Porque pensei: "Haverá paz e segurança em meus dias".

Entonces Ezechîas dijo á Isaías: La palabra de Jehová que has hablado, es buena. Después dijo: ¿Mas no habrá paz y verdad en mis días?

Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The LORD’s word which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “Isn’t it so, if peace and truth will be in my days?”

Quanto aos demais assuntos relacionados a Ezequias — todo o seu poder, e como ele construiu o reservatório de água e o túnel para abastecer a cidade com água —, não estão escritos no livro de Crônicas dos reis de Judá?

Lo demás de los hechos de Ezechîas, y todo su vigor, y cómo hizo el estanque, y el conducto, y metió las aguas en la ciudad, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?

And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

Ezequias dormiu com seus antepassados, e Manassés, seu filho, tornou-se rei em seu lugar.

Y durmió Ezechîas con sus padres, y reinó en su lugar Manasés su hijo.

And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
