Por aquel tiempo enfermó de muerte Ezequías , y vino a visitarle Isaías profeta, hijo de Amós y le dijo: Esto dice el Señor Dios: Dispón tus cosas; porque vas a morir, va a tener fin tu vida.
EN aquellos días cayó Ezechîas enfermo de muerte, y vino á él Isaías profeta hijo de Amós, y díjole: Jehová dice así: Dispón de tu casa, porque has de morir, y no vivirás.
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
In those days Hezekiah was sick and dying. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Set your house in order; for you will die, and not live.’”
Entonces Ezequías volvió su rostro hacia la pared, e hizo oración al Señor diciendo:

Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

¡Ah Señor!, acuérdate, te suplico, que yo he andado delante de ti con sinceridad y rectitud de corazón, haciendo lo que es agradable a tus ojos. Y derramó Ezequías abundancia de lágrimas.
Ruégote, oh Jehová, ruégote hagas memoria de que he andado delante de ti en verdad é íntegro corazón, y que he hecho las cosas que te agradan. Y lloró Ezechîas con gran lloro.
I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
“Remember now, LORD, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
Mas antes que Isaías hubiese pasado la mitad del atrio le habló el Señor, diciendo:
Y antes que Isaías saliese hasta la mitad del patio, fué palabra de Jehová á Isaías, diciendo:
And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
Before Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, the LORD’s word came to him, saying,
Vuelve, y di a Ezequías , caudillo de mi pueblo: Esto dice el Señor Dios de tu padre David: Oído he tu oración, y visto tus lágrimas; yo te doy la salud; de aquí a tres días subirás al templo del Señor.
Vuelve, y di á Ezechîas, príncipe de mi pueblo: Así dice Jehová, el Dios de David tu padre: Yo he oído tu oración, y he visto tus lágrimas: he aquí yo te sano; al tercer día subirás á la casa de Jehová.
Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.
“Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘The LORD, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to the LORD’s house.
Y alargaré quince años tu vida; además de eso te libraré del poder del rey de los asirios a ti y a esta ciudad; a la cual protegeré por amor mío, y por amor de David mi siervo.
Y añadiré á tus días quince años, y te libraré á ti y á esta ciudad de mano del rey de Asiria; y ampararé esta ciudad por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.
And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

Y dijo Isaías: Traedme una masa de higos. Traída que fue, y aplicada sobre la úlcera del rey, quedó éste curado.
Y dijo Isaías: Tomad masa de higos. Y tomándola, pusieron sobre la llaga, y sanó.
And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Había dicho antes Ezequías a Isaías: ¿Cuál será la señal de que el Señor me dará la salud, y de que dentro de tres días he de subir al templo del Señor?
Y Ezechîas había dicho á Isaías: ¿Qué señal tendré de que Jehová me sanará, y que subiré á la casa de Jehová al tercer día?
And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?
Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I will go up to the LORD’s house the third day?”
Le respondió Isaías: He aquí la señal que dará el Señor de que cumplirá la palabra que ha pronunciado: ¿Quieres que la sombra en ese reloj solar se adelante diez líneas, o que retroceda otros tantos grados?
Y respondió Isaías: Esta señal tendrás de Jehová, de que hará Jehová esto que ha dicho: ¿Avanzará la sombra diez grados, ó retrocederá diez grados?
And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
Isaiah said, “This will be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”
A lo cual respondió Ezequías : Fácil es que la sombra se adelante diez líneas; no deseo yo que suceda esto, sino que vuelva atrás diez grados.
Y Ezechîas respondió: Fácil cosa es que la sombra decline diez grados: pero, que la sombra vuelva atrás diez grados.
And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

Entonces el profeta Isaías invocó al Señor, e hizo retroceder la sombra de línea en línea por los diez grados que había ya andado en el reloj de Acaz.

En aquel tiempo Berodac Baladán, hijo de Baladán, rey de Babilonia, envió cartas y presentes a Ezequías , por haber escuchado que había estado enfermo.

Tuvo gran contento Ezequías con la venida de los embajadores, y les mostró la casa o fábrica de los perfumes, y el oro, y la plata, y las varias confecciones aromáticas, y los ungüentos o aceites de olor, y la pieza de sus alhajas y armas, y todo cuanto tenía en sus tesoros. No hubo cosa en su palacio, ni de cuanto poseía, que Ezequías no les mostrase.
Y Ezechîas los oyó, y mostróles toda la casa de las cosas preciosas, plata, oro, y especiería, y preciosos ungüentos; y la casa de sus armas, y todo lo que había en sus tesoros: ninguna cosa quedó que Ezechîas no les mostrase, así en su casa como en todo su señorío.
And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.

Mas el profeta Isaías vino a ver al rey Ezequías , y le preguntó: ¿Qué han dicho esos hombres? ¿Y de dónde han venido a verte? Al cual contestó Ezequías : Han venido a mí de lejanas tierras, de Babilonia.
Entonces el profeta Isaías vino al rey Ezechîas, y díjole: ¿Qué dijeron aquellos varones, y de dónde vinieron á ti? Y Ezechîas le respondió: De lejanas tierras han venido, de Babilonia.
Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.
Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a far country, even from Babylon.”
Le dijo Isaías: ¿Qué han visto en tu casa? Respondió Ezequías : Han visto todo cuanto hay en palacio; nada hay en mis tesoros que no les haya yo mostrado.
Y él le volvió á decir: ¿Qué vieron en tu casa? Y Ezechîas respondió: Vieron todo lo que había en mi casa; nada quedó en mis tesoros que no les mostrase.
And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
He said, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”
Dijo entonces Isaías a Ezequías : Escucha la palabra del Señor:
Entonces Isaías dijo á Ezechîas: Oye palabra de Jehová:
And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.
Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the LORD’s word.
He aquí que vendrá tiempo en que todas esas cosas que hay en tu casa y cuantas han atesorado tus padres hasta el día presente, serán transportadas a Babilonia; no quedará cosa alguna, dice el Señor.
He aquí vienen días, en que todo lo que está en tu casa, y todo lo que tus padres han atesorado hasta hoy, será llevado á Babilonia, sin quedar nada, dijo Jehová.
Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
‘Behold, the days come that all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store to this day, will be carried to Babylon. Nothing will be left,’ says the LORD.
Y aun tus mismos hijos que saldrán de ti engendrados, serán llevados cautivos, y vendrán a ser eunucos o cortesanos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia.
Y de tus hijos que saldrán de ti, que habrás engendrado, tomarán; y serán eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia.
And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
‘They will take away some of your sons who will issue from you, whom you will father; and they will be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’”
Respondió Ezequías a Isaías: Justa es la sentencia del Señor pronunciada por tu boca; reine a lo menos durante mi vida la paz y la verdad.
Entonces Ezechîas dijo á Isaías: La palabra de Jehová que has hablado, es buena. Después dijo: ¿Mas no habrá paz y verdad en mis días?
Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?
Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The LORD’s word which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “Isn’t it so, if peace and truth will be in my days?”
En orden a los demás hechos de Ezequías , y su gran fortaleza, y como fabricó el estanque, y el acueducto con que introdujo las aguas en la ciudad, ¿no está todo esto escrito en el Libro de los Anales de los Reyes de Judá?
Lo demás de los hechos de Ezechîas, y todo su vigor, y cómo hizo el estanque, y el conducto, y metió las aguas en la ciudad, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

En fin, Ezequías fue a reposar con sus padres, sucediéndole en el reino su hijo Manasés.
Y durmió Ezechîas con sus padres, y reinó en su lugar Manasés su hijo.
