1Manasés tenía doce años cuando comenzó a reinar; por cincuenta y cinco años estuvo gobernando en Jerusalén; y el nombre de su madre era Hepsiba.
2E hizo lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, copiando los caminos repugnantes de aquellas naciones que el Señor había arrojado de delante de los hijos de Israel.
3Volvió a levantar los lugares altos que habían sido derribados por Ezequías su padre; hizo altares para Baal, de Asera, como Acab, rey de Israel, había hecho; Él adoró y rindió culto al ejército de estrellas del cielo.
4Y puso altares en la casa del Señor, de lo cual el Señor había dicho: En Jerusalén pondré mi nombre.
5E instaló altares para todas las estrellas del cielo en los dos cuadrados exteriores de la casa del Señor.
6E hizo pasar a su hijo por el fuego, práctico la invocación de espíritus y la adivinación, estableció el espiritismo y la hechicería; hizo mucho mal ante los ojos del Señor, provocándolo a la ira.
7Puso la imagen de Asera que había hecho en la casa que el Señor había dicho a David y a su hijo Salomón, en esta casa y en Jerusalén, el pueblo que he hecho mío. Las tribus de Israel, pondré mi nombre para siempre.
8Y nunca más enviaré los pies de Israel vagando por la tierra que di a sus padres; si solo se ocuparan de cumplir todas mis órdenes, y de guardar toda la ley que les dio mi siervo Moisés.
9Pero no oyeron; y Manasés les hizo hacer más mal que aquellas naciones, a quienes el Señor entregó a la destrucción delante de los hijos de Israel.
10Y él Señor dijo, a través de sus siervos los profetas:
11Porque Manasés, rey de Judá, ha hecho estas cosas repugnantes, haciendo más mal que todos los amorreos antes que él, y haciendo que Judá haga mal con sus dioses falsos,
12Por esta causa, dice el Señor, el Dios de Israel, enviaré tal maldad sobre Jerusalén y Judá, que los oídos le dolerán a todos a quienes lleguen las noticias.
13Y sobre Jerusalén será medida con la misma medida que a Samaria y la simiente de Acab; Jerusalén se lavará limpiamente como se lava un plato y se voltea sobre su cara.
14Y apartaré de mí el resto de mi herencia, y los entregaré en manos de sus enemigos, que tomarán sus bienes y sus bienes para sí mismos;
15Porque han hecho lo malo ante mis ojos, llevándome a la ira, desde el día en que sus padres salieron de Egipto hasta el día de hoy.
16Más que esto, Manasés tomó la vida de hombres rectos, hasta que Jerusalén, de un extremo a otro, estaba llena de sangre; además de su pecado al hacer que Judá hiciera el mal a los ojos del Señor.
17Los demás hechos de Manasés, y todo lo que hizo, y sus pecados, ¿no están registrados en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
18Manasés durmió con sus padres, y fue enterrado en el jardín de su palacio, en el jardín de Uza; y Amón su hijo se convirtió en rey en su lugar.
19Amón tenía veintidós años cuando se convirtió en rey, gobernando en Jerusalén durante dos años; el nombre de su madre era Mesulemet, la hija de Haruz de Jotba.
20Él hizo lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, como había hecho Manasés su padre.
21Recorrió todos los caminos de su padre, sirviendo y adorando a los dioses falsos de los que su padre había sido servidor;
22Alejándose del Señor, el Dios de sus padres, y no andando en sus caminos.
23Y los criados de Amón conspiraron contra él, y mataron al rey en su casa.
24Pero él pueblo de la tierra mató a todos los que habían participado en el plan contra el rey, e hicieron rey a Josías su hijo en su lugar.
25Ahora, el resto de los actos que hizo Amón, ¿no están registrados en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
26Lo enterraron en pusieron en el jardín de Uza, y Josías su hijo se convirtió en rey en su lugar.

1DE doce años era Manasés cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó en Jerusalem cincuenta y cinco años: el nombre de su madre fué Hepsiba.
2E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, según las abominaciones de las gentes que Jehová había echado delante de los hijos de Israel.
3Porque él volvió á edificar los altos que Ezechîas su padre había derribado, y levantó altares á Baal, é hizo bosque, como había hecho Achâb rey de Israel: y adoró á todo el ejército del cielo, y sirvió á aquellas cosas.
4Asimismo edificó altares en la casa de Jehová, de la cual Jehová había dicho: Yo pondré mi nombre en Jerusalem.
5Y edificó altares para todo el ejército del cielo en los dos atrios de la casa de Jehová.
6Y pasó á su hijo por fuego, y miró en tiempos, y fué agorero, é instituyó pythones y adivinos, multiplicando así el hacer lo malo en ojos de Jehová, para provocarlo á ira.
7Y puso una entalladura del bosque que él había hecho, en la casa de la cual había Jehová dicho á David y á Salomón su hijo: Yo pondré mi nombre para siempre en esta casa, y en Jerusalem, á la cual escogí de todas las tribus de Israel:
8Y no volveré á hacer que el pie de Israel sea movido de la tierra que dí á sus padres, con tal que guarden y hagan conforme á todas las cosas que yo les he mandado, y conforme á toda la ley que mi siervo Moisés les mandó.
9Mas ellos no escucharon; y Manasés los indujo á que hiciesen más mal que las gentes que Jehová destruyó delante de los hijos de Israel.
10Y habló Jehová por mano de sus siervos los profetas, diciendo:
11Por cuanto Manasés rey de Judá ha hecho estas abominaciones, y ha hecho más mal que todo lo que hicieron los Amorrheos que fueron antes de él, y también ha hecho pecar á Judá en sus ídolos;
12Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: He aquí yo traigo tal mal sobre Jerusalem y sobre Judá, que el que lo oyere, le retiñirán ambos oídos.
13Y extenderé sobre Jerusalem el cordel de Samaria, y el plomo de la casa de Achâb: y yo limpiaré á Jerusalem como se limpia una escudilla, que después que la han limpiado, la vuelven sobre su haz.
14Y desampararé las reliquias de mi heredad, y entregarlas he en manos de sus enemigos; y serán para saco y para robo á todos sus adversarios;
15Por cuanto han hecho lo malo en mis ojos, y me han provocado á ira, desde el día que sus padres salieron de Egipto hasta hoy.
16Fuera de esto, derramó Manasés mucha sangre inocente en gran manera, hasta henchir á Jerusalem de cabo á cabo: además de su pecado con que hizo pecar á Judá, para que hiciese lo malo en ojos de Jehová.
17Lo demás de los hechos de Manasés, y todas las cosas que hizo, y su pecado que cometió, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
18Y durmió Manasés con sus padres, y fué sepultado en el huerto de su casa, en el huerto de Uzza; y reinó en su lugar Amón su hijo.
19De veinte y dos años era Amón cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó dos años en Jerusalem. El nombre de su madre fué Mesalemeth hija de Harus de Jotba.
20E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, como había hecho Manasés su padre.
21Y anduvo en todos los caminos en que su padre anduvo, y sirvió á las inmundicias á las cuales había servido su padre, y á ellas adoró;
22Y dejó á Jehová el Dios de sus padres, y no anduvo en el camino de Jehová.
23Y los siervos de Amón conspiraron contra él, y mataron al rey en su casa.
24Entonces el pueblo de la tierra hirió á todos los que habían conspirado contra el rey Amón; y puso el pueblo de la tierra por rey en su lugar á Josías su hijo.
25Lo demás de los hechos de Amón, que efectuara, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
26Y fué sepultado en su sepulcro en el huerto de Uzza, y reinó en su lugar Josías su hijo.

1Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzi-bah.
2And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
3For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
6And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
7And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
9But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
10And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
11Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
13And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
14And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
16Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
17Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
18And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
19Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
20And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
21And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
22And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
23And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
24And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
26And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.

6He made his son to pass through the fire, practiced sorcery, used enchantments, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits and with wizards. He did much evil in the LORD’s sight, to provoke him to anger.
7He set the engraved image of Asherah that he had made in the house of which the LORD said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever;
8I will not cause the feet of Israel to wander any more out of the land which I gave their fathers, if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.”
9But they didn’t listen, and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than the nations did whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
10The LORD spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,
