Manassé avait douze ans lorsqu’il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-cinq ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s’appelait Hephtsiba.

DE doce años era Manasés cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó en Jerusalem cincuenta y cinco años: el nombre de su madre fué Hepsiba.

Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzi-bah.

Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel, selon les abominations des nations que l’Éternel avait chassées devant les enfants d’Israël.

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, según las abominaciones de las gentes que Jehová había echado delante de los hijos de Israel.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

Il rebâtit les hauts lieux qu’Ézéchias, son père, avait détruits, il éleva des autels à Baal, il fit une idole d’Astarté, comme avait fait Achab, roi d’Israël, et il se prosterna devant toute l’armée des cieux et la servit.

Porque él volvió á edificar los altos que Ezechîas su padre había derribado, y levantó altares á Baal, é hizo bosque, como había hecho Achâb rey de Israel: y adoró á todo el ejército del cielo, y sirvió á aquellas cosas.

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

Il bâtit des autels dans la maison de l’Éternel, quoique l’Éternel eût dit: C’est dans Jérusalem que je placerai mon nom.

Il bâtit des autels à toute l’armée des cieux dans les deux parvis de la maison de l’Éternel.

Y edificó altares para todo el ejército del cielo en los dos atrios de la casa de Jehová.

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

Il fit passer son fils par le feu; il observait les nuages et les serpents pour en tirer des pronostics, et il établit des gens qui évoquaient les esprits et qui prédisaient l’avenir. Il fit de plus en plus ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel, afin de l’irriter.

Y pasó á su hijo por fuego, y miró en tiempos, y fué agorero, é instituyó pythones y adivinos, multiplicando así el hacer lo malo en ojos de Jehová, para provocarlo á ira.

And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Il mit l’idole d’Astarté, qu’il avait faite, dans la maison de laquelle l’Éternel avait dit à David et à Salomon, son fils: C’est dans cette maison, et c’est dans Jérusalem, que j’ai choisie parmi toutes les tribus d’Israël, que je veux à toujours placer mon nom.

Y puso una entalladura del bosque que él había hecho, en la casa de la cual había Jehová dicho á David y á Salomón su hijo: Yo pondré mi nombre para siempre en esta casa, y en Jerusalem, á la cual escogí de todas las tribus de Israel:

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

Je ne ferai plus errer le pied d’Israël hors du pays que j’ai donné à ses pères, pourvu seulement qu’ils aient soin de mettre en pratique tout ce que je leur ai commandé et toute la loi que leur a prescrite mon serviteur Moïse.

Y no volveré á hacer que el pie de Israel sea movido de la tierra que dí á sus padres, con tal que guarden y hagan conforme á todas las cosas que yo les he mandado, y conforme á toda la ley que mi siervo Moisés les mandó.

Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

Mais ils n’obéirent point; et Manassé fut cause qu’ils s’égarèrent et firent le mal plus que les nations que l’Éternel avait détruites devant les enfants d’Israël.

Mas ellos no escucharon; y Manasés los indujo á que hiciesen más mal que las gentes que Jehová destruyó delante de los hijos de Israel.

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

But they didn’t listen, and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than the nations did whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

Alors l’Éternel parla en ces termes par ses serviteurs les prophètes:

Parce que Manassé, roi de Juda, a commis ces abominations, parce qu’il a fait pis que tout ce qu’avaient fait avant lui les Amoréens, et parce qu’il a aussi fait pécher Juda par ses idoles,

Por cuanto Manasés rey de Judá ha hecho estas abominaciones, y ha hecho más mal que todo lo que hicieron los Amorrheos que fueron antes de él, y también ha hecho pecar á Judá en sus ídolos;

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

“Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, and has done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has also made Judah to sin with his idols;

voici ce que dit l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël: Je vais faire venir sur Jérusalem et sur Juda des malheurs qui étourdiront les oreilles de quiconque en entendra parler.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: He aquí yo traigo tal mal sobre Jerusalem y sobre Judá, que el que lo oyere, le retiñirán ambos oídos.

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

J’étendrai sur Jérusalem le cordeau de Samarie et le niveau de la maison d’Achab; et je nettoierai Jérusalem comme un plat qu’on nettoie, et qu’on renverse sens dessus dessous après l’avoir nettoyé.

Y extenderé sobre Jerusalem el cordel de Samaria, y el plomo de la casa de Achâb: y yo limpiaré á Jerusalem como se limpia una escudilla, que después que la han limpiado, la vuelven sobre su haz.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

J’abandonnerai le reste de mon héritage, et je les livrerai entre les mains de leurs ennemis; et ils deviendront le butin et la proie de tous leurs ennemis,

Y desampararé las reliquias de mi heredad, y entregarlas he en manos de sus enemigos; y serán para saco y para robo á todos sus adversarios;

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

parce qu’ils ont fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux et qu’ils m’ont irrité depuis le jour où leurs pères sont sortis d’Égypte jusqu’à ce jour.

Por cuanto han hecho lo malo en mis ojos, y me han provocado á ira, desde el día que sus padres salieron de Egipto hasta hoy.

Manassé répandit aussi beaucoup de sang innocent, jusqu’à en remplir Jérusalem d’un bout à l’autre, outre les péchés qu’il commit et qu’il fit commettre à Juda en faisant ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel.

Fuera de esto, derramó Manasés mucha sangre inocente en gran manera, hasta henchir á Jerusalem de cabo á cabo: además de su pecado con que hizo pecar á Judá, para que hiciese lo malo en ojos de Jehová.

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

Le reste des actions de Manassé, tout ce qu’il a fait, et les péchés auxquels il se livra, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda?

Manassé se coucha avec ses pères, et il fut enterré dans le jardin de sa maison, dans le jardin d’Uzza. Et Amon, son fils, régna à sa place.

Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel, comme avait fait Manassé, son père;

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, como había hecho Manasés su padre.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

il marcha dans toute la voie où avait marché son père, il servit les idoles qu’avait servies son père, et il se prosterna devant elles;

Les serviteurs d’Amon conspirèrent contre lui, et firent mourir le roi dans sa maison.

Entonces el pueblo de la tierra hirió á todos los que habían conspirado contra el rey Amón; y puso el pueblo de la tierra por rey en su lugar á Josías su hijo.

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
