Manassés tinha doze anos quando começou a reinar. Ele reinou por cinquenta e cinco anos em Jerusalém. Sua mãe se chamava Hefzibá.

DE doce años era Manasés cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó en Jerusalem cincuenta y cinco años: el nombre de su madre fué Hepsiba.

Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzi-bah.

Ele fez o que era mau à vista de Yahweh, como as coisas abomináveis das nações que Yahweh havia tirado diante do povo de Israel.

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, según las abominaciones de las gentes que Jehová había echado delante de los hijos de Israel.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

Pois ele reconstruiu os lugares altos que Ezequias, seu pai, havia destruído, e ele construiu altares a Baal, fez um poste a Astarote, como o que Acabe, rei de Israel, havia feito, e ele se prostrou a todas as estrelas do céu e as adorou.

Porque él volvió á edificar los altos que Ezechîas su padre había derribado, y levantó altares á Baal, é hizo bosque, como había hecho Achâb rey de Israel: y adoró á todo el ejército del cielo, y sirvió á aquellas cosas.

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

Manassés contruiu altares pagãos na casa de Yahweh, apesar do comando de Yahweh: "Em Jerusalém, é onde Meu nome será para sempre".

Asimismo edificó altares en la casa de Jehová, de la cual Jehová había dicho: Yo pondré mi nombre en Jerusalem.

And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

Ele construiu altares para todas as estrelas do céu nos dois pátios do templo de Yahweh.

Y edificó altares para todo el ejército del cielo en los dos atrios de la casa de Jehová.

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

Ele ofereceu seu filho no fogo; ele praticou feitiçaria e encantamento, e se consultou com aqueles que falam com os mortos e aqueles que falam com os espíritos. Ele praticou muitos atos malignos diante de Yahweh, e ele provocou a ira de Deus.

Y pasó á su hijo por fuego, y miró en tiempos, y fué agorero, é instituyó pythones y adivinos, multiplicando así el hacer lo malo en ojos de Jehová, para provocarlo á ira.

And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

He made his son to pass through the fire, practiced sorcery, used enchantments, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits and with wizards. He did much evil in the LORD’s sight, to provoke him to anger.

A imagem esculpida de Astarote que ele fez, ele a pôs no templo de Yahweh. Foi sobre esse templo que Yahweh havia dito a Davi e a Salomão, seu filho. Ele disse: "Neste templo e em Jerusalém, a qual Eu escolhi de todas as tribos de Israel, que Eu colocarei Meu nome para sempre.

Y puso una entalladura del bosque que él había hecho, en la casa de la cual había Jehová dicho á David y á Salomón su hijo: Yo pondré mi nombre para siempre en esta casa, y en Jerusalem, á la cual escogí de todas las tribus de Israel:

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

Não mais deixarei que os pés de Israel andem fora da terra que dei aos seus antepassados, caso eles obedeçam cuidadosamente tudo o que Eu os comandei, e sigam toda Lei que Meu servo Moisés ordenou a eles".

Y no volveré á hacer que el pie de Israel sea movido de la tierra que dí á sus padres, con tal que guarden y hagan conforme á todas las cosas que yo les he mandado, y conforme á toda la ley que mi siervo Moisés les mandó.

Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

Mas as pessoas se recusaram a escutar, e Manassés os levou a fazer coisas bem piores, muito mais do que as nações que Yahweh havia destruído diante do povo de Israel.

Mas ellos no escucharon; y Manasés los indujo á que hiciesen más mal que las gentes que Jehová destruyó delante de los hijos de Israel.

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

But they didn’t listen, and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than the nations did whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

Assim, Yahweh falou por meio de Seus servos, os profetas, dizendo:

Y habló Jehová por mano de sus siervos los profetas, diciendo:

And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

"Porque Manassés, rei de Judá, tem feito essas coisas abomináveis, e tendo agido perversamente, que todos os amorreus antes dele fizeram, e também havia feito Judá pecar com seus ídolos,

Por cuanto Manasés rey de Judá ha hecho estas abominaciones, y ha hecho más mal que todo lo que hicieron los Amorrheos que fueron antes de él, y también ha hecho pecar á Judá en sus ídolos;

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

“Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, and has done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has also made Judah to sin with his idols;

então, Yahweh, o Deus de Israel, diz: 'Vê, Eu estou para trazer tal mal sobre Jerusalém e Judá que qualquer que ouvir isto, ambos os ouvidos retinarão.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: He aquí yo traigo tal mal sobre Jerusalem y sobre Judá, que el que lo oyere, le retiñirán ambos oídos.

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

Eu estenderei sobre Jerusalém a corda de medidas usada contra Samaria, e a corda de prumo contra a casa de Acabe; Eu irei limpar Jerusalém, da mesma maneira que um homem lava a louça, lavando-a e virando-a de cabeça para baixo.

Y extenderé sobre Jerusalem el cordel de Samaria, y el plomo de la casa de Achâb: y yo limpiaré á Jerusalem como se limpia una escudilla, que después que la han limpiado, la vuelven sobre su haz.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

Eu lançarei fora o remanescente da Minha herança e os entregarei na mão de seus inimigos. Eles se tornarão vítimas e despojo para todos os seus inimigos,

Y desampararé las reliquias de mi heredad, y entregarlas he en manos de sus enemigos; y serán para saco y para robo á todos sus adversarios;

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

porque eles fizeram o mal à Minha vista, e Me provocaram à ira, desde o dia em que seus ancestrais vieram do Egito, até o dia de hoje'".

Por cuanto han hecho lo malo en mis ojos, y me han provocado á ira, desde el día que sus padres salieron de Egipto hasta hoy.

Além disso, Manassés derramou muito sangue inocente, até encher Jerusalém de morte de um extremo ao outro. Isto foi em adição ao pecado pelo qual ele fez Judá pecar, quando ela fez o que era mal à vista de Yahweh.

Fuera de esto, derramó Manasés mucha sangre inocente en gran manera, hasta henchir á Jerusalem de cabo á cabo: además de su pecado con que hizo pecar á Judá, para que hiciese lo malo en ojos de Jehová.

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

Quanto aos demais atos relacionados a Manassés, tudo que ele fez, e o pecado cometido, não estão escritos no livro de Crônicas dos reis de Judá?

Manassés dormiu com seus antepassados e foi sepultado no jardim de sua própria casa, no jardim de Uzá. Amom seu filho tornou-se rei em seu lugar.

Y durmió Manasés con sus padres, y fué sepultado en el huerto de su casa, en el huerto de Uzza; y reinó en su lugar Amón su hijo.

And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

Amom tinha vinte e dois anos quando começou a reinar; ele reinou por dois anos em Jerusalém. O nome de sua mãe era Mesulemete; ela era a filha de Haruz de Jobtá.

De veinte y dos años era Amón cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó dos años en Jerusalem. El nombre de su madre fué Mesalemeth hija de Harus de Jotba.

Ele fez o que era mau à vista de Yahweh, da mesma maneira que Manassés, seu pai, fez.

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, como había hecho Manasés su padre.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

Amom seguiu o caminho em que seu pai andou e adorou aos ídolos que seu pai adorou, e se prostrou a eles.

Y anduvo en todos los caminos en que su padre anduvo, y sirvió á las inmundicias á las cuales había servido su padre, y á ellas adoró;

And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:

Ele abandonou Yahweh, o Deus de seus pais, e não andou no caminho de Yahweh.

Y dejó á Jehová el Dios de sus padres, y no anduvo en el camino de Jehová.

And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.

Os servos de Amom conspiraram contra ele e o mataram em sua própria casa.

Y los siervos de Amón conspiraron contra él, y mataron al rey en su casa.

And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.

Mas o povo da terra matou todos aqueles que conspiraram contra o rei Amom, e fizeram de Josias, seu filho, rei em seu lugar.

Entonces el pueblo de la tierra hirió á todos los que habían conspirado contra el rey Amón; y puso el pueblo de la tierra por rey en su lugar á Josías su hijo.

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
