Un día, el sumo sacerdote Jilquías fue a ver al secretario Safán, y le dijo: «¡He encontrado, en el templo del Señor, un rollo que contiene la ley del Señor!». Y le entregó el rollo a Safán para que lo leyera.

Entonces dijo el sumo sacerdote Hilcías á Saphán escriba: El libro de la ley he hallado en la casa de Jehová. E Hilcías dió el libro á Saphán, y leyólo.

And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the book of the law in the LORD’s house.” Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
