Josias avait huit ans quand il commença à régner, et il régna trente et un ans à Jérusalem. Et le nom de sa mère était Jédida, fille d'Adaïa, de Botskath.

CUANDO Josías comenzó á reinar era de ocho años, y reinó en Jerusalem treinta y un años. El nombre de su madre fué Idida hija de Adaía de Boscath.

Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah of Boscath.

Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jedidah the daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath.

Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Eternel et marcha entièrement dans la voie de David, son père, et ne s'en détourna ni à droite, ni à gauche.

E hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, y anduvo en todo el camino de David su padre, sin apartarse á diestra ni á siniestra.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.

He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, and walked in all the ways of David his father, and didn’t turn away to the right hand or to the left.

Et la dix-huitième année du roi Josias, le roi envoya Saphan, le secrétaire, fils d'Atsalia, fils de Meschullam, à la maison de l'Eternel, en lui disant :

Y á los dieciocho años del rey Josías, fué que envió el rey á Saphán hijo de Azalía, hijo de Mesullam, escriba, á la casa de Jehová, diciendo:

And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, that the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the LORD, saying,

In the eighteenth year of King Josiah, the king sent Shaphan, the son of Azaliah the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the LORD’s house, saying,

Monte vers Hilkija, le grand sacrificateur, et qu'il relève l'argent qui a été apporté à la maison de l'Eternel et que les gardiens du seuil ont recueilli du peuple.

Ve á Hilcías, sumo sacerdote: dile que recoja el dinero que se ha metido en la casa de Jehová, que han juntado del pueblo los guardianes de la puerta,

Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people:

“Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may count the money which is brought into the LORD’s house, which the keepers of the threshold have gathered of the people.

Et qu'on le remette en mains de ceux qui ont la charge de l'ouvrage, qui sont préposés à la maison de l'Eternel, et qu'ils le donnent à ceux qui font l'ouvrage dans la maison de l'Eternel pour réparer le dommage de la maison,

Y que lo pongan en manos de los que hacen la obra, que tienen cargo de la casa de Jehová, y que lo entreguen á los que hacen la obra de la casa de Jehová, para reparar las aberturas de la casa:

And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them give it to the doers of the work which is in the house of the LORD, to repair the breaches of the house,

Let them deliver it into the hand of the workers who have the oversight of the LORD’s house; and let them give it to the workers who are in the LORD’s house, to repair the damage to the house,

aux charpentiers, aux constructeurs, aux maçons, afin d'acheter des bois et des pierres de taille pour réparer la maison.

A los carpinteros, á los maestros y albañiles, para comprar madera y piedra de cantería para reparar la casa;

Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house.

to the carpenters, and to the builders, and to the masons, and for buying timber and cut stone to repair the house.

Toutefois il ne leur sera pas demandé compte de l'argent remis entre leurs mains, car ils travaillent avec fidélité.

Y que no se les cuente el dinero cuyo manejo se les confiare, porque ellos proceden con fidelidad.

Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.

However, no accounting shall be asked of them for the money delivered into their hand, for they deal faithfully.”

Et Hilkija, le grand sacrificateur, dit à Saphan, le secrétaire : J'ai trouvé le livre de la loi dans la maison de l'Eternel. Et Hilkija donna le livre à Saphan, et celui-ci le lut.

Entonces dijo el sumo sacerdote Hilcías á Saphán escriba: El libro de la ley he hallado en la casa de Jehová. E Hilcías dió el libro á Saphán, y leyólo.

And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the book of the law in the LORD’s house.” Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

Et Saphan, le secrétaire, vint vers le roi et fit rapport au roi, disant : Tes serviteurs ont versé l'argent qui se trouvait dans la Maison et l'ont remis en mains de ceux qui ont la charge de l'ouvrage, qui sont préposés à la maison de l'Eternel.

Viniendo luego Saphán escriba al rey, dió al rey la respuesta, y dijo: Tus siervos han juntado el dinero que se halló en el templo, y lo han entregado en poder de los que hacen la obra, que tienen cargo de la casa de Jehová.

And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.

Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, “Your servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hands of the workmen who have the oversight of the LORD’s house.”

Et Saphan, le secrétaire, dit encore au roi : Hilkija, le sacrificateur, m'a donné un livre. Et Saphan le lut devant le roi.

Asimismo Saphán escriba declaró al rey, diciendo: Hilcías el sacerdote me ha dado un libro. Y leyólo Saphán delante del rey.

And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, “Hilkiah the priest has delivered a book to me.” Then Shaphan read it before the king.

Et lorsque le roi eut entendu les paroles du livre de la loi, il déchira ses vêtements.

Y cuando el rey hubo oído las palabras del libro de la ley, rasgó sus vestidos.

And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.

When the king had heard the words of the book of the law, he tore his clothes.

Et le roi donna cet ordre à Hilkija, le sacrificateur, à Achikam, fils de Saphan, à Acbor, fils de Michée, à Saphan, le secrétaire, et à Asaïa, serviteur du roi, disant :

Luego mandó el rey á Hilcías el sacerdote, y á Ahicam hijo de Saphán, y á Achbor hijo de Michâía, y á Saphán escriba, y á Asaía siervo del rey, diciendo:

And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king’s, saying,

The king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Achbor the son of Micaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king’s servant, saying,

Allez, consultez l'Eternel pour moi, pour le peuple et pour tout Juda au sujet de ce livre qui a été trouvé, car grande est la colère de L'Eternel qui s'est enflammée contre nous parce que nos pères n'ont pas écouté les paroles de ce livre, pour faire selon tout ce qui y est écrit contre nous.

Id, y preguntad á Jehová por mí, y por el pueblo, y por todo Judá, acerca de las palabras de este libro que se ha hallado: porque grande ira de Jehová es la que ha sido encendida contra nosotros, por cuanto nuestros padres no escucharon las palabras de este libro, para hacer conforme á todo lo que nos fué escrito.

Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

“Go inquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is the LORD’s wrath that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that which is written concerning us.”

Et Hilkija, le sacrificateur, et Achikam et Acbor, Saphan et Asaïa allèrent vers Hulda, la prophétesse, femme de Sallum, fils de Thikva, fils de Charehas, gardien des vêtements ; et elle demeurait à Jérusalem dans le nouveau quartier, et ils lui parlèrent.

Entonces fué Hilcías el sacerdote, y Ahicam y Achbor y Saphán y Asaía, á Hulda profetisa, mujer de Sallum hijo de Ticva hijo de Araas, guarda de las vestiduras, la cual moraba en Jerusalem en la segunda parte de la ciudad, y hablaron con ella.

So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.

So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Achbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem in the second quarter); and they talked with her.

Et elle leur dit : Ainsi a dit l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël : Dites à l'homme qui vous a envoyés vers moi : Ainsi a dit l'Eternel :

Y ella les dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: Decid al varón que os envió á mí:

And she said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me,

She said to them, “The LORD the God of Israel says, ‘Tell the man who sent you to me,

Je vais faire venir le malheur sur ce lieu et sur ses habitants, toutes les paroles du livre qu'a lues le roi de Juda.

Así dijo Jehová: He aquí yo traigo mal sobre este lugar, y sobre los que en él moran, á saber, todas las palabras del libro que ha leído el rey de Judá:

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:

“The LORD says, ‘Behold, I will bring evil on this place and on its inhabitants, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read.

En retour de ce qu'ils m'ont abandonné et de ce qu'ils ont fait des encensements à d'autres dieux pour m'irriter par toute l'œuvre de leurs mains, ma colère s'est allumée contre ce lieu, et elle ne s'éteindra pas...

Por cuanto me dejaron á mí, y quemaron perfumes á dioses ajenos, provocándome á ira en toda obra de sus manos; y mi furor se ha encendido contra este lugar, y no se apagará.

Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.

Et au roi de Juda qui vous a envoyés pour consulter l'Eternel, voici ce que vous lui direz : Ainsi a dit l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël, touchant les paroles que tu as entendues :

Mas al rey de Judá que os ha enviado para que preguntaseis á Jehová, diréis así: Así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: Por cuanto oíste las palabras del libro,

But to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the LORD, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard;

But to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, tell him, “The LORD the God of Israel says, ‘Concerning the words which you have heard,

Parce que ton cœur s'est attendri et que tu t'es humilié devant l'Eternel quand tu as entendu ce que j'ai dit contre ce lieu et contre ses habitants : qu'ils seraient détruits et maudits ; et parce que tu as déchiré tes vêtements et que tu as pleuré devant moi..., moi aussi j'ai entendu, déclare l'Eternel.

Y tu corazón se enterneció, y te humillaste delante de Jehová, cuando oíste lo que yo he pronunciado contra este lugar y contra sus moradores, que vendrían á ser asolados y malditos, y rasgaste tus vestidos, y lloraste en mi presencia, también yo te he oído, dice Jehová.

Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.

because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you,’ says the LORD.

C'est pourquoi je vais te recueillir vers tes pères ; tu seras recueilli en paix dans ton sépulcre, et tes yeux ne verront pas tout le mal que je ferai venir sur ce lieu. Et ils rapportèrent cela au roi.

Por tanto, he aquí yo te recogeré con tus padres, y tú serás recogido á tu sepulcro en paz, y no verán tus ojos todo el mal que yo traigo sobre este lugar. Y ellos dieron al rey la respuesta.

Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.

‘Therefore behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. Your eyes will not see all the evil which I will bring on this place.’”’” So they brought this message back to the king.
