Então o rei Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, nomeou Gedalias, filho de Aicão e neto de Safã, como governador do povo que ficou em Judá.

Y al pueblo que Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia dejó en tierra de Judá, puso por gobernador á Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam hijo de Saphán.
