No nono ano do reinado do rei Zedequias, no décimo mês, no décimo dia do mês, Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, veio com todo seu exército contra Jerusalém. Ele acampou em frente, e construíram um muro sitiando-os ao redor.

Y ACONTECIÓ á los nueve años de su reinado, en el mes décimo, á los diez del mes, que Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia vino con todo su ejército contra Jerusalem, y cercóla; y levantaron contra ella ingenios alrededor.

And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.

Abierta ya la ciudad, huyeron de noche todos los hombres de guerra por el camino de la puerta que estaba entre los dos muros, junto á los huertos del rey, estando los Caldeos alrededor de la ciudad; y el rey se fué camino de la campiña.

And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king’s garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain.

Mas o exército dos babilônios perseguiu o rei Zedequias e o alcançou nas planícies do rio Jordão, no vale próximo a Jericó. Todo seu exército estava disperso do rei.

Eles capturaram o rei e o conduziram para o rei da Babilônia em Ribla, onde ele foi sentenciado.

So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.

No sétimo dia do quinto mês, que era o décimo nono ano do reinado de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, Nebuzaradã, um servo do rei da Babilônia e comandante de sua guarda, chegou em Jerusalém.

And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzar-adan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:

Ele queimou o templo de Yahweh, o palácio real e todas as casas de Jerusalém; também ele queimou cada construção importante na cidade,

e todas as paredes em volta de Jerusalém foram destruídas pelo exército da Babilônia, que estava sob a autoridade do comandande da guarda.

Y todo el ejército de los Caldeos que estaba con el capitán de la guardia, derribó los muros de Jerusalem alrededor.

And all the army of the Chaldees, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.

All the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down the walls around Jerusalem.

Quanto ao resto das pessoas que foram deixadas na cidade e aqueles que tinham se rendido ao rei da Babilônia, e o resto da população, Nebuzaradã, comandante da guarda, os levou para o exílio.

Y á los del pueblo que habían quedado en la ciudad, y á los que se habían juntado al rey de Babilonia, y á los que habían quedado del vulgo, trasportólos Nabuzaradán, capitán de los de la guardia.

Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carry away.

Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive the rest of the people who were left in the city and those who had deserted to the king of Babylon—all the rest of the multitude.

Mas o comandante da guarda deixou alguns dos mais pobres da terra para trabalharem nos vinhedos e nos campos.

But the captain of the guard left of the poor of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.

Quanto aos pilares de bronze que estavam no templo de Yahweh, os suportes e o tanque de bronze que estavam no templo de Yaweh, os babilônios os quebraram em partes e levaram o bronze para Babilônia.

Y quebraron los Caldeos las columnas de bronce que estaban en la casa de Jehová, y las basas, y el mar de bronce que estaba en la casa de Jehová, y llevaron el metal de ello á Babilonia.

And the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldees break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.

The Chaldeans broke up the pillars of bronze that were in the LORD’s house and the bases and the bronze sea that were in the LORD’s house, and carried the bronze pieces to Babylon.

Vasos, pás, apagadores, vasilhas e todos os utensílios de bronze com que cada sacerdote havia servido no templo, os babilônios levaram todos.

Lleváronse también los calderos, y las paletas, y las tenazas, y los cucharones, y todos los vasos de metal con que ministraban.

And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

Os potes para remoção de cinzas e as bacias que eram feitas de ouro, e tudo o que era feito de prata, o comandante da guarda do rei também levou.

And the firepans, and the bowls, and such things as were of gold, in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away.

A altura do primeiro pilar era de dezoito côvados, e havia um capitel de bronze sobre ele. O capitel tinha três côvados de altura, com treliças e romãs ao seu redor, tudo feito de bronze. O outro pilar e sua treliça era como o do primeiro.

The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the chapiter upon it was brass: and the height of the chapiter three cubits; and the wreathen work, and pomegranates upon the chapiter round about, all of brass: and like unto these had the second pillar with wreathen work.

The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a capital of bronze was on it. The height of the capital was three cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capital around it, all of bronze; and the second pillar with its network was like these.

O comandante da guarda levou Seraías, o sumo sacerdote, junto com Sofonias, o segundo sacerdote, e os três guardas do portão.

And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:

Da cidade, ele levou um oficial que estava no comando dos soldados como prisioneiro, e cinco dos homens que aconselhavam o rei que ainda estavam na cidade. Ele também levou o oficial responsável por selecionar homens para o exército como prisioneiro, juntamente com sessenta homens importantes da terra que ainda estavam na cidade.

Y de la ciudad tomó un eunuco, el cual era maestre de campo, y cinco varones de los continuos del rey, que se hallaron en la ciudad; y al principal escriba del ejército, que hacía la reseña de la gente del país; y sesenta varones del pueblo de la tierra, que se hallaron en la ciudad.

And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of them that were in the king’s presence, which were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land that were found in the city:

and out of the city he took an officer who was set over the men of war; and five men of those who saw the king’s face, who were found in the city; and the scribe, the captain of the army, who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city.

Então, Nebuzaradã, comandante da guarda, os pegou e os levou ao rei da Babilônia em Ribla.

O rei da Babilônia os matou em Ribla, na terra de Hamate. Desta forma, Judá foi levado em exílio para fora da sua terra.

And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land.

Quanto ao povo que permaneceu na terra de Judá, os que Nabucodonozor, rei da Babilônia, havia deixado, ele colocou Gedalias, filho de Aicam, filho de Safã, encarregado por eles.

Y al pueblo que Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia dejó en tierra de Judá, puso por gobernador á Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam hijo de Saphán.

And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.

As for the people who were left in the land of Judah whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, governor.

Ora, quando todos os comandantes de soldados, eles e seus homens, ouviram que o rei da Babilônia havia feito de Gedalias governador, eles foram até Gedalias em Mispá. Esses homens eram Ismael, filho de Netanias, Joanã, filho de Careá, Seraías, filho de Tanumete, o netofatita, e Jazanias, filho do maacatita, eles e seus homens.

Y oyendo todos los príncipes del ejército, ellos y su gente, que el rey de Babilonia había puesto por gobernador á Gedalías, viniéronse á él en Mizpa, es á saber, Ismael hijo de Nathanías, y Johanán hijo de Carea, y Saraía hijo de Tanhumet Netofatita, y Jaazanías hijo de Maachâti, ellos con los suyos.

And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

Now when all the captains of the forces, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, Johanan the son of Kareah, Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.

And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.

Gedaliah swore to them and to their men, and said to them, “Don’t be afraid because of the servants of the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will be well with you.”

Mas, isso aconteceu no sétimo mês, Ismael, filho de Netanias, filho de Elisama, da família real, veio com dez homens e atacou Gedalias. Gedalias morreu, assim como os homens de Judá e os babilônios que estavam com ele em Mispá.

Mas en el mes séptimo vino Ismael hijo de Nathanías, hijo de Elisama, de la estirpe real, y con él diez varones, é hirieron á Gedalías, y murió: y también á los Judíos y Caldeos que estaban con él en Mizpa.

But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at Mizpah.

Então, todo o povo, desde o menor até o maior, e os comandantes de soldados, levantaram e foram para o Egito, porque eles estavam com medo dos babilônios.

And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;
