27Entonces tomó a su hijo mayor, el que debía reinar después de él, y lo sacrificó como un holocausto sobre la muralla. Esto causó un gran horror contra los israelitas, quienes se retiraron de allí y regresaron a su propia tierra.

27Entonces arrebató á su primogénito que había de reinar en su lugar, y sacrificóle en holocausto sobre el muro. Y hubo grande enojo en Israel; y retiráronse de él, y volviéronse á su tierra.

27Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.
